Honestly, I blame Shane Dawson. He's had a tween audience for a long while and supplied a lot of these subscribers to Jeffree by doing those "documentaries", in which he gave his special stamp of approval and I think Jeffree is still riding that wave. Kids and teens are notorious for being extremely devoted fans.

Completely agree, innocent until proven guilty but there is too much evidence mounting that he was well aware of what was going on. We all say/do dumb shit when under the influence so I find it hard to believe people on tour partying hard af never had an idea that Vanity was a pervert. Also those "documentaries" were trash. Im sick of people thinking they are on some high pedestal. Dawson will never be Louis Theroux.

So, Jeffree appeared on a podcast called Mom's Basement with Keemstar, Faze Banks, and Clown. Here are some highlights, I'm still re-listening so I'll edit in a bit

-Faze Banks is being an ass kisser to Jeffree, while Keem and Clown are asking fairly hard-hitting questions, especially regarding the Dahvie situation
-Jeffree brushes aside the Damien/Jessi Slaughter allegations (There's a rumor/allegation that Dahvie Vanity had a sexual relationship with him when he was 11 years old) by saying "I don't know."
-Jeffree around 34 minutes in admits that he says things and lies about them all the time
-Around 43 minutes in the James Charles situation is brought up by Keemstar
-Jeffree claims that the whole James Charles situation was ALL Tati, Jeffree didn't want anything to do with it.
-It's pretty evident that James Charles and Tati are still on his mind
-Speaking of Tati, they're no longer friends but they're not enemies
-"Is James Charles a dangerous predator?" "It's a very complicated question."
-According to Jeffree, someone came forward to Jeffree with "a few things" and then another person said some things and that apparently convinced Jeffree that James is a predator.
-Jeffree claims to have proof of James Charles being a predator but doesn't reveal it. Offers to have Faze Banks see what the proof is in a private room, but not on the podcast as he doesn't want to "out a victim"

Overall though, Jeffree comes off as a prick in the podcast and seems so far up his own ass. He deflects everything or explains it away so that it's not his fault, it's someone else's.

This is pretty much on par with the interview with Chris Hansen. "I don't know anything and I say stupid shit all the time for no reason". Makes everything he says later very believable, doesn't it.

This pisses me off. James Charles is big headed and annoying, but he's also 19 years old and fairly sheltered. Not saying that he can't be a predator, but the only person who has been actually behaving in a predatory way is Jeffree, the 34 year old stale faggot, going after this kid with as much vitriol as he did. The proof thing is just him saving face by pretending to be too good to do it. Bitch, you had no problem going after him publicly, but when you're asked to back it up it suddenly has to be private huh?

Jeffree deadass painted James as some sort of serial predator and insinuated he'd molested his own brother. I'm not proud of Tati's actions in this, either, but Jeffree needs to man up to his participation in the smear campaign and stop throwing Tati under the bus.
