I’m hearing voices. Should I listen to them?

I found this weird book at the library. It was made out of some kind of weird leather and the pages felt odd, unlike anything I’ve ever felt. I put down the book for only a half second but when I looked back it was gone. Since then I started hearing voices compelling me to perform a ritual in a language I don’t understand. The voices are unlike anything I’ve ever heard, almost as if they spoke from an inhumane mouth. Should I listen to the voices?
