(Were you an English major, or a psychology major?)
I believe I have found Sweet's userpage on Wikipedia, in which he discusses his college education (Sweet also fancies himself a "horror" author):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:The_Iconoclast said:A graduate of Arkansas State University, he was a psychology and English major, a member of the honor society Pi Gamma Mu, and a staffer for The Herald.
Also, the name "Iconoclast" is explained. And surprisingly, it comes from a cartoon:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:The_Iconoclast said:His screen name comes from a Pinky and the Brain short, "Puppet Rulers", in which Brain, posing as a kiddie-show host, called himself, "The Iconoclast, an unconventional eccentric who marches to the beat of a different drummer".
Not only that, but apparently, the userpage used to be a lot more soapboxy and promotional:

Here's what it was like before the cleanup:
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:The_Iconoclast&diff=564548428&oldid=564333643
...which included this apparently ironic statement:
Sweet said:..[L]iberals don't have anything new to offer. They haven't seriously updated their playbook in over thirty years. It's worn-out, tattered, stained[...] Its emphasis on the culture of victimhood[...]
