Were you also one of the people shitting and pissing about how that video totally wasn't sweeping for Hasan? It's pretty funny that you'll claim that Hasans endorsement of violence are all out of context because you watched some video where a clearly motivated actor provided the context that he wanted for a few clips. What was the fiery but mostly peaceful context behind "Kill them! Kill the motherfuckers! Let the streets run red with their red capitalist blood."?

Heres a little clue. No one has ever argued that Hasan gives thoughtful, articulate justifications for violence. Everything he says is like dust in the wind and if you wanted to you could construct an argument that he believes the exact opposite. There is a saying that there are no red states, just blue cities. It's true for the most part, but there are some exceptions . That said, even the most red states still have significant minority populations, the most red state in the union was once a giant Indian reservation that practiced slavery and fought for the confederacy. It's a sea of red, brown, and black despite being maga country.

States like this rely on a many things to stay red such as lower voter turn out, shared values like a strong love of jesus, significant rural populations, decades of republican control, and of course gerrymandering.

Imagine a state that is in reality 60% red and 40% blue. You would think that would mean 6 red seats and 4 blue seats, but if the party who draws the map packed most of the blue voters into 2 districts where Blue wins 90% - 10%, those blue votes become wasted beyond what was needed to win. The remaining districts become easier red wins. So 6 and 4 becomes 8 and 2.

A fairly balanced state of red and blue becomes a red stronghold.

That's gerrymandering.

Democrat strategies are antithetical to Republican political strategies, they are the party of ever expanding voter access and participation. The party of mass immigration. If they get to redraw the maps, if only for one election cycle, it can completely flip a red state into a blue state it will change the countries future for many decades to come.

the red and blue politicians are fighting a never ending forever war for political domination. It's pretty gay honestly, but its the world we live in.
