Haven’t been staying current with this thread - just getting plugged back in now. Folks, watt was hasan thinking? This entire story is revolting. He should be charged.

I used to think hasan was one of the more grounded influencers, but he’s been generating some negative buzz around his conduct and it’s been sparking some realizations… folks you might say the realization has struck me like a bolt of lightning!

Not that I'd ever want to find out first hand but I suspect pitbulls doing what they were bred to do are a lot happier and more fulfilled than being forced to sit in a tiny invisible box for several hours a day 5-6 times a week in addition to whatever a control freak with 100% power over you has planned in the off hours. Heck pitbulls might be more fulfilled in the pit than they are in the typical 'normal' home being forced to act like lapdogs and being dressed in silly costumes and not being able to maul passing small animals.

Never once did it get any sort of open wounds from it, mostly because that was the special walking collar and it always came off/usual collar on at home. When I had dogs as a kid living in a rural area we had shock collars for our dogs because they had a tendency to run off into the woods and chase the critters. We'd use the collars try to stop them when they ran away from us but it didn't usually work. It's hard to tell if the collars were usually ineffective because we were normal fucking people and didn't overtighten the collar to drive the prongs deep into their skin, or if those boys had really high pain tolerances. They might have also just really loved chasing critters.

I only see him complaining about the dog. It is clear he does not like these dogs or perhaps dogs in general.
He has to have a dog for his image but in his heart he don't like them at all. And so he only talks to them in anger, never affection, and takes joy in hurting them, punishing them for existing.

Hes a brownie, and somehow even worse, a "champagne commie nigger".
He cant treat a dog as part of the family, to him, a dog is just a tool.
In his case its just to be a prop that needs some maintenance but to him that prop is a nuisance to use, he cant bother to maintain that prop properly so he takes the easy way out.

you have to attach a behavior to the stimulus. you can’t just give them a zap and expect them to come running lol. my retriever - who is often up to half a mile away from me retrieving the fowl - understands that it means to come back to me no matter what because that’s the behaviour i paired it with. the point isn’t to hurt them it’s to be able to communicate with them when they’re so far away they won’t hear you. i use the same collar as hassan and it has a range of a mile. they’re damn useful for working dogs, and even pets when used appropriately.

a regular prong collar wouldn’t have caused his old dog’s injury. it’s difficult to hurt a dog with a properly made prong collar unless you do something entirely retarded like never take it off a puppy and they “grow into” it (even more horrifying than it sounds). it’s not consistent with prong use at all.

however it could maybe, possibly, if we’re stretching, be caused by a cheap prong collar, the kind you can buy at like a regular pet store, because they can actually be sharp. but given hassan’s wealth, as well as his use of a reputable e-collar brand that doesn’t come cheap, i find it hard to believe he was using a $15 prong collar from a pet store.

there is something more fucky here than prong collar use. it actually looks like he has been intentionally hurting his dog.
 
All of this Hasan footage has made me realize how much of a whiny bitch he is. Before that I only ever saw a couple of select clips when he was saying something stupid for attention, but these dog clips are just taken out of random streams. Now I think stuff like when he's yelling at someone or saying America deserved 9/11 are as manicured as he is. He sounds like a toddler whining that something didn't go his way in every single one of the random ones. It's amazing that he managed to maintain even a small audience when he acts like that, I don't care how much he's been propped up.

The only conclusion I can draw is that the people that like him assume that it's okay for an adult to act like that.

Honestly, how often do you see photos of dogs with their owners or even just chilling and they don’t look happy or goofy as hell? Or at minimum, relaxed? This dog looks like it would neck itself if she could. Terrible.

Eta: I am very upset this innocent animal got stuck with that absolute piece of shit but here’s the silver lining, she helped out his rotten ass to the masses. God bless her.

As a non-photographer, I tried taking a family photo with my dogs one time and trying to get them to not look like absolute fucking idiots was impossible (many hand gestures and tricks with treats behind the camera and the like were attempted.) The only time I've ever seen any of my dogs have a dour expression like this is when they were either injured or ill.

i have a cat, i just never thought of it that way
when it wants attention it lets you know (loudly), when it doesn't want your attention it also lets you know (usually by simply walking away)
describing this in human sexual terms like 'consent' feels kinda weird and off-putting to me
