He literally tested the cyanide capsules he was going to use himself, right before he actually killed himself. It was the very same day. He (and the other people in the bunker) were visibly upset about the death of the dog. It's pathetic that even when they have someone like Hitler to criticize, they have to accuse him of doing something only they do.

not a dog person but i'm learning that these things are widely legal and there is even a kind that shocks the dog every time they bark which is extremely fucked up to me.

at what point does this cross over into criminal animal abuse? can you just zap your dog whenever you want legally? seems weird. dog people are very weird to me generally though - they either infantalize their "doggos" and treat them like children, or neglect and abuse their dogs like hasan here.

dogs should be almost exclusively farm animals - as in dogs should have an entire farm to roam around in. then they can even shit wherever they want and you don't have to debase yourself by picking up animal shit with your hand.

domestication of dogs into apartments and cities seems like an affront to nature. you can't say this to a dog person though they'll get very mad at you for saying that taking an animal on one 5 minute walk a day isn't enough stimulation and it's totally fine for an animal to have 3-5 rooms to wander around in for 99% of their existence. (inb4 someone says "uh actually i take my dog on two 10 minute walks per day" as if that makes it any better)

let dogs be animals. they're not children and they're not accessories either.

I’m beginning to think this was an unfortunate necessity, too, after learning about the history of communist treatment of dogs/pets/animals (Deng Xiaoping’s dogs, Mao Zedong banning dog ownership/mass exterminations, etc.) and the Red Army being just about to reach the bunker.
