People from that part of the world generally don’t keep dogs as pets. He’s using poor doggo as a streaming prop to sit in the background and make himself appear more personable.
 
I used to think that Hasan was a good guy, with him endorsing terrorist organizations like the Houthi Rebels. But he shocked his dog for *checks notes* getting out of bed? I can't even with this motherfucker.

Yeah everything lines up too well. He's using that dog as a living prop. The fact he gets annoyed that the dog sits up is insane by itself. Who cares? Let the dog walk around. But seeing that I'm pretty convinced he is shocking the poor thing.

I'm actually MATI. I have a dog and hearing my dog yelp like that is such a horrible thing. I could not imagine intentionally making my dog yelp. Especially when considering the fact that all he would need to do to prevent her being a problem is to open his door and let her roam around the house.
