Yeah, but with tons of body fat and steroid guts. I don't think Hasan wants to be the strongest guy of all time like that. What he wants is for his body to be an object of sexual attraction. This is why he comes across as so gay, because, similar to what you were saying, that's not a typically masculine trait.
Honestly, it'd be less than you think. Yea sure, a lot of guys use steroids, and there are guys who have been cruising for years on them, but your average 50 something strong man hasn't destroyed their body with steroids. They might have done them in the past, but the most they'll be on at that age is TRT, and at 50 it's doing a lot less than it would at 30. Even the whole TRT trend is a relatively new thing for the majority of guys. 10+ years ago a guy was usually either actively on roids or he was for the most part natural, regardless of age.
To the second part though, yes his primary goal is being a sexual object, but at the same time the dude very clearly wants to be thought of as the "strong man" of the left. It just so happens though that literally everyone he works out with is a weak twink.
There should be no reason Ludwig and Hasan use the same working sets, it's just actually insane.
they've done studies with PEDs that show that taking PEDs ALONE (ie no exercise) lead to a greater lean muscle mass increase in than the group that worked out and did not take PEDs.
In a group of untrained men the lean muscle mass increase rank is as follows:
- PEDs + training
- PEDs + no training
- training
- no training
Caveats being of course these are all untrained men, and it was done over a short period - I think a few months or so.
PEDs are about as close to a magic pill as you can get. Depressing reality.
Like I think if you take an untrained skinnyfat dude over a six month period, he would be more aesthetic if he just jacked up his test hella high vs if he hit the gym hard for 6 months.
Of course that might change over a longer period of time. Like training hard for 3-5 years vs just taking TRT (and not training) for 5 years you'd probably be better off training natty.
I've seen the studies you're talking about, and I have experimented with multiple forms of PED's both while lifting and not lifting. The majority of PED's at the average efficacious dose are not magic pills by themselves.
I'm not sure what exact study you're referencing, but generally the ones people cite revolve around TRT, and in those studies the amount of TRT given varies, as well as the initial testosterone levels of the participants. The reason this matters is that men with naturally lower test given TRT would experience increased muscle gains compared to men with normal to above normal levels.
For your average untrained man without low testosterone the average muscle increased that can be expected on just TRT is between 2-4 pounds with a reduction in overall bodyfat over the course of 6 months, with strength levels staying virtually the same. These gains might be noticeable, but compared to putting a man who has never trained into the gym and giving him 6 months to go as hard as possible, he would easily look more aesthetic than a man just doing TRT.
Newbie gains are a huge thing, and whatever muscle you gain taking TRT would not be the same as the localized muscle growth a newbie would experience in their chest, back, arms, and legs. I promise you it wouldn't even be comparable.
TRT isn't only prescribed to men because they want to work out and gain muscle. There are a lot of men who take it and don't do any kind of training because TRT has many more benefits than just the ability to gain muscle. Those guys aren't just jacked, and they don't indefinately gain muscle simply due to taking TRT on a regular basis. They might have an initial gain, but it will not make them muscular in any sense if they are not training.
PED's are only realistically beneficial to those who have reached the peak of their natural genetics and would like to surpass them. Sure they can make muscle gain much easier for those who take them while working out, but the sad truth is that the heights most people reach on PED's could also be reached naturally with just hard work.
It isn't until you get into body building competitions, more specifically Mr. Olympia, do you see the difference between your average jacked roidhead, and a 300lb man at 6% body fat.
With enough work a lot of guys can reach the jacked roidhead aesthetic naturally, at least for a period of time. Reaching Mr. Olympia levels though is physically impossible without a lot of HGH, Tren, D-bol, etc.
