This right here immediately invalidates a certain person's knee-jerk reaction of arguing that Hasan only gets a free pass because he's brown. Remember when Kanye West was un-personed and had his bank accounts frozen when he went into his antisemitic arc in 2022? Last I checked, Kanye is blackity black black-black. Let's also not forget Nick Cannon a few years ago when he was forced to apologize for his remarks on the Jews.

To be fair, it has kind of become one in the mainstream. Even companies that make video games specifically code their language. "We made this with love for the players", "we're putting the players first", "we've played games our whole lives", "we're excited to hear feedback from the players", "one million players engaged". The term "gamer" is meant to invoke specific imagery of a fat ponytailed dork who spends way too much time and energy playing and caring about the content and culture of video games.

I know Gamergate is kind of a meme, but it left a lasting impact on the people who shape the narrative, aka the "journalists" and media. Never mind the fact the whole thing was essentially a whore sucking journo dick for extra points who rallied the entire industry behind her to decry those who dared notice. Gamer as it stands in the modern lexicon is meant to be derogatory.

Also, fuck Hasan. I hope he gets strapped to a bomb and dropped on Gaza. If the sand people are going to fight over the small strip, I'd rather the U.S. just take it. Build a military base on one end and the Third Temple Bar&Grill/Buc'ees megaplex on the other. If you want to see the world collectively pucker their asshole, give the U.S. another staging point in the Mediterranean.
