At first I thought the Ethan/Hasan "debate" would be too cringe to tolerate watching, but an hour and a half in, I'm actually quite entertained by just how rhetorically inept Hasan is in his feigned obtuseness. He's so adamant about refusing to concede to Ethan on any point (as always, like during the post-10/7 collapse of The Leftovers) that he'll even harm his own image to avoid giving Ethan a "win". Like Hasan refuses to say that he doesn't "work with" neo-Nazis by virtue of both being "anti-Zionist" because doing so would aid Ethan's point that he doesn't "work with" the ADL as Hasan accuses him of.

You seem to have forgotten that the Armenian genocide is the only genocide or mass crime against humanity that is publicly and socially acceptable to deny.
 
Have Hasan and his orbiters ever actually promoted CC3? In any way? Even just mentioning it for a second? I remember Denims talked about CC2 during the Froggy Fresh drama, and Hasan talking about Minx AFTER the event.

I cannot fathom what possessed Ian (other than maybe ego) from a business or moral or a relationship perspective to actually go this fucking hard against Ethan and basically derail his career and event over this.

this is accurate. in terms of groups like this, houthis are a weird one to choose to support. they are almost entirely responsible for the horrific famines in yemen the last few years. hasan would try to blame the saudi coalition, but that is just a lie.

if you look at groups like hamas, hezbollah, etc, they make a bit more sense (until recently) because they were actually popular with their people. the houthis are obviously and abhorrently evil. keeping slaves, using child soldiers, stealing food aid, all the greatest hits of these groups.

also horrible treatment of women

that said, even hamas and hezbollah really aren't popular anymore. hamas' popularity rose hugely after october 7 but since then the palestinians have seen that all it got them was misery. it's something like 6% approval rating. hezbollah is a similar situation, only shias ever liked them and even there the popularity is slipping. lebanon has made it clear that after hezb starts a war with israel, their popularity goes down massively. arabs in the region hate jews/israel but for most, they actually do care more about saving their own lives once the bombs start falling.
 
It'd be really funny to watch Hassan get thrown in prison really you could throw most of these left wing creators in prison especially all the nebula types for being unregistered for an agents material support to terrorism terroristic threats you name our crime the leftists have broken it if the FBI director that Trump selected wasn't this dot dot head maybe these things would get done

I haven't met a single person, online or in-person, who lived under communism and doesn't hate communism with a passion. Even the children of these people who were not born under communism hate communism. The only people who support communism are those who are extremely removed from communism. Of course they delude themselves with the "Not real communism!" schtick.

They already demonstrated Hasan's lack of social studies knowledge when they spent a while arguing that the JAPANESE sword has a "hindu" symbol on the hilt. For a political commentator about international affairs he doesn't even have an elementary understanding of geography and other cultures. Forget Pakistan, if you asked him "where do most Hindus live" he would probably point at the Philippines thinking it is Japan.

You don't really need to go there, since in the early stages of the H3\Hasan drama Hasan decided to educate Ethan on how great China is by defending the conquest of Tibet because the tibetans were savages. Defended the ethnic and cultural cleansing of minorities within China. Defended putting political dissidents into camps. Defended striking down protests in HK because they were supported by westerners. And defended a future conquest of Taiwan because they were dictators.

I'm not sure why this doesn't get more attention because it's such blatant hypocrisy where he especially goes against everything he criticizes the west for, but also largely what he criticizes Israel for. It's quite obvious that it doesn't matter for Hasan how something is done, but rather who does it.
