Take this with a huge heaping of salt grains because Hasan is one of those cows I only check in on once in awhile and then forget he exists until I eventually see a clip of him saying something stupid. While his general attitude/disdain towards his chat is responsible for some of the audience bleed, I wonder if it's the fact he's trying to cover "real" news that's making his fans realize he's either not the best source of information, or just plain dumb. Whenever I've seen Hasan in the past, he was covering general "U.S (and more specifically, Republicans) suck" style stories, where everyone was basically looking for an echo chamber they could nod in agreement with.

But for his younger viewers especially, they're probably just realizing for the first time that global politics is actually pretty complex, and Hasan really doesn't know what he's talking about. So, if they actually care, they might wander off to watch someone else more informed. Or if they just don't care at all, they might wander off and only check in to see if Hasan is covering something more local they can easily grasp, like the right = bad.

A defining quality of the Kiwi Farms is it's commitment to factual information. Corrections and removed features should speak more towards a goal of proper record keeping than user fuck up. There is great appreciation in the admittance of fault and the acceptance of the mistakes and restorative commitment that follows.

Hasan is a multi-faced dishonest poltitsperg faggot. By featuring and then unfeaturing a story about him due to a misrepresentation of the facts shows that the Kiwi Farms has more integrity than him which is a win-win too me.

In all honesty, this incident perfectly encapsulates why I don't like Hasan or his fans. The man's not a 'political commentator', he's a grifter who 'owns the fashy chuddies' by having autistic meltdowns on his livestreams about shit he knows nothing about.
I almost never resort to A-Logging on this forum but I really can't stand the faggot and I'm glad he's losing his relevance.
