It was actually a little hard to find other people streaming the debate last night on the front page or just chatting? Twitch absolutely did him a solid and he got a lot of viewers who just wanted to watch it on twitch, including me. His commentary was pretty milquetoast for the most part, which explains why he probably did well with casuals who stumbled in

I checked his stream for probably less than a minute once the debate began to turn into an absolute dumpster fire disaster for Biden and as other comments recently in the thread mentioned, he really does seem to be sub-100 IQ because he seemed entirely oblivious to just how badly it was going for Biden, which must absolutely take a true brainlet to not perceive or register and was just making what I assume to be typical chimpish chirps at Trump and Reps/Cons, absolutely vapid content with very little engaging with the substance of the debate.

Hasan isn’t a cow I keep track of but I just wanted to complain here about how heavily astroturfed this faggot is. I don’t really watch political stuff on yt but my recommended keeps getting spammed with compilation video of his stupid fucking soyface reacting to random shit. Even when I click on the “don’t recommend this channel” option or even block the Hasan fan channels I’ll just get spammed by some other Hasan clips channel. Even when I was a leftard I thought Hasan was a dipshit and all around unbearable faggot

There are so many channels clipping him with the same repetitive variations of the name 'DailyDoseofHasanabi', 'HasanClips', 'Hasan Reacts' that chances are you are still 10 incarnations away from the algorithm finally getting the memo. That's the extend of his socialism, he doesn't copyright his own image so teenagers can monetize clips of him.

For what I understand it isn't official, so on technicality you can't say he is running a propaganda machine on the labour of minors. That's why there are so many and why his mug is inescapable.

I think the agreement is that he allows them to keep all the money because he doesn't care man.
 
Incidentally, that behavior/relationship may have helped drive his popularity to some extent. In a way, the short clips are almost a form of advertising for him and while not everyone is going to go watch his Twitch stream, if it gets more people to show up it ultimately makes him more money in the long run.

There are a few game series such as Fire Emblem that I got into because I used to play fan translations of the older games on an emulator. Enough people did this that Nintendo realized there was a market for it in America and so now they translate and sell them here and I've been buying them.

Nintendo does have to spend money doing that, but they obviously make a profit from doing so. Hasan, however, doesn't need to pay this people to do something that benefits him and even if he could pay someone to do it an have his own official clip channel, there's no indication that it would be as effective or make him that much money.

While this type of approach may not work for all kinds of media or copyright holders, for someone like Hasan it's probably a net benefit. It's also funny because it's essentially showing how effectively market forces can be and even though it may not seem like it, the people running those clip channels are developing some skills that may be beneficial to them in gaining future employment or starting a career.

I have seen people say or imply that they think the recent Trump assassination will lead to a clamp down on leftist speech kind of like how the Christ church shooting lead to a clamp down on the alt right. Now that the shooter seems to be a republican who is either a libertarian or a never Trumper that seems even less likely.
