Just want to point out that to no surprise, Hasan Piker is on X still supporting the Columbia University campus protestors for essentially taking the university hostage and breaking in the dorms to somehow think that supporting Palestine is the same thing as breaking a window while also being shown on record as to not knowing what you’re protesting over.

I think that the only genocide that's less real than Palestinian genocide is the trans genocide. The fact that their population literally quadrupled (1.14 million in 1967, 5.13 million in 2021) and their life expectancy has gone up 44% (51 in 1967, 73.5 in 2021) since the Israeli occupation gives lie to such claims and anyone who says otherwise is either terminally stupid or lying. A lot of countries dream of having such a genocide enacted upon them,

I agree with this in principle, but it's not the best argument. Genocide is determined by intent to carry out a mass killing of a group of people along cultural, ethnic, or religious lines, not by how successful the attempts were.

This is why the October 7th attacks were genocidal, and the current attempts to root out Hamas are not. You could theoretically kill every single Monegasque by nuking Nice or something with Monaco just being too close to comfort, so therefore not a genocide.

For how it's used, the term is not fit for purpose and serves only to allow ideological radicals to gain good boy points. Make it seem like a crime that the rapists with sticks and stones weren't allowed to have a fair shake on the murder sauce bottle against those armed with laser guided munitions.

None of this is happening in Palestine. All the pain we've seen were a direct consequence of Israel's war against Hamas, which was caused by the October incident. It sucks, but war fucking sucks.

I don't know much about Tate other than he's pretty much universally disliked. I haven't watched any of his content but I think I get the gist of what he's about: anti feminist, pro-masculinity and alpha male shit mixed in with cryptobro and self-help guru pyramid schemes.

For as cringeworthy and horrible as that stuff can sometimes be, at least the overall intention is rooted in something positive, which is male self improvement and self preservation.

Leftist commentators relentlessly mock those ideas but they don't ever offer a healthy alternative or even an alternative at all. It's pretty much just convincing young people to not take themselves seriously because nothing matters. What is Hasan's point at the end of the day? What is the message he's trying to convey to his fanbase?

I genuinely think that Tate has some self-awareness and is a genuinely intelligent (if morally bankrupt and dishonest) person. Hasan is actually stupid. And also morally bankrupt and dishonest, but only just intelligent enough be capable of bad faith. Conversely, Tate's orbiters are stupider than him and you can see his contempt for them whenever they talk. Hasan's orbiters are definitely smarter than him, some even have normal intelligence. You answered the question in your post. They want Hasan's audience, which means giving empty compliments and hollow promises to Hasan. Hasan is not friends with any of these people, he is a business associate at best and a mark to grift at worst.

I remember a few years ago I heard he was doing the faggy GTA RP shit that gets popular every few years among content creators and I saw a few clips of every one of the other content creators licking his "characters" (from what I saw it was just him playing an "exaggerated" version of himself) taint spotless. Pretending his midwit political takes and general douchebag behavior was the height of genius and culture. That is all that is happening less obviously with the other influencers who fly around him waiting for the chance to take another bite of his meal.
