Evanna Lynch (second from left) had a chronic eating disorder to the point of repeat hospitalization, which ages the body really hard, it's why many supermodels and dancers, etc. tend to look terrible as they get to middle age.

An unflattering photo was picked for Emma Watson but she's acted the most out of the group which gives you expression lines. I mean I'm sure she did plenty of drugs but you can easily find photos of her from 2023 with natural lighting and she looks like a normal babyface woman in her 30s.

Bonnie Wright also got shafted with a cherrypicked photo but idk she was never really known for her looks, she doesn't act much and is more focused on philanthropy and social causes, etc so she probably doesn't care as much about aging

My brother in Christ, Tibet was annexed in 1951, so yes, Tibet technically did stop the practice in the early 50s, coincidentally exactly when they were absorbed by the PRC.

Yes. While sure, Thubten Gyatso officially discouraged the practice, western foreign observers in the country during the 1950 invasion still wrote about landed feudal nobility which had both manorial slaves and hereditary agricultural serfs bound to the land. So in that regard, literally yes, the PRC annexing Tibet directly led to the abolishment of serfdom and slavery in Tibet. Again, the communists are godless totalitarian monsters, however they're hardly worse than literal slave owning hereditary nobility.
 
On the subject of Tibet.
Tibet was and remains to be a shithole. Tibetan monks were feudal lords that kept slaves in horrible living conditions. When you dig into Tibetan slavery, it makes the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade look like working for George Westinghouse.

It's not that much better today, Tibetans are still oppressed by the CCP, just like everyone living under the CCP.

It would be nice if these people were given genuine freedom one day.

It was an authoritarian shithole back then but an independent Tibet would surely have modernized at least a little by now. Look at Bhutan, they were an absolute Buddhist monarchy in the same neighborhood at the time, and, while still fiercely protective of their cultural and ethnic identity, they’re a fairly modern country that emphasizes individual happiness.

It sounds like China came stomping in during a tumultuous, transitional time in Tibet when serfdom was being phased out, then. It's hard to really condemn Tibet for taking time to transition on its own; India still practices the caste system decades after abolishing it.

It still sounds like China is making a savior narrative for its justification taking Tibet. Which is the bullshit Hasan is playing that got him trending here in the first place.

This is really interesting because Ethan said on his H3TV stream that he feels people who jumped to "Free Palestine" straight away were basically saying "We support Hamas", and then also "I'm sure [Hasan and I] will have a conversation about it. I don't think he's going to disagree with what I'm saying, otherwise he'd probably be a Hamas supporter, because that's basically all I'm saying. I'm saying "let's not slaughter civillians". I doubt Hasan is going to disagree with that. That would be surprising. What I've seen Hasan say is that the terrorism is the result of Israel's occupation, which I agree with"

I imagine Hasan will initially be careful not to get mad at people "defending Israel" in English because Ethan's probably too dumb to know when something has been translated from Turkish accurately and assume this is fake news, but knowing Hasan he'll slip up eventually when they both end up saying something inflammatory. Ethan was arguing that if you think the Israeli civilians deserve death then you should pay for ISIS to come fly to your home and burn everyone in your block alive because Americans deserve it more than Israelis.

I love trolling Turks because the vast majority of them have no Turkish ancestry from Turkmenistan and a completely Greek.
