Irony has been declared many times in this pandemic but now, from Covid-riddled Germany comes the final proof: you can't kill yourself now unless you've been vaccinated. As European countries battle to limit the spread of the virus, Verein Sterbehilfe – the German Euthanasia Association – has issued a new directive, declaring it will now only help those who have been vaccinated or recovered from the disease. In a statement, the association said:

"Euthanasia and the preparatory examination of the voluntary responsibility of our members willing to die require human closeness. Human closeness, however, is a prerequisite and breeding ground for coronavirus transmission. As of today, the 2G rule applies in our association, supplemented by situation-related measures, such as quick tests before encounters in closed rooms."

'Close encounters in closed rooms' – what a fabulous German euphemism for assisted suicide. The term '2G' meanwhile refers to a system which only allows free movement for leisure activities for the geimpft oder genese— 'vaccinated or recovered.' God forbid that a person without the jab should try to end it all – talk about a vaccine passport to the afterlife...

I got you man. I'll message you a PDF recipe. Just make sure you download it bro.
Contributions to my research* library are always appreciated. Energetics synthesis is always especially appreciated because it's one of the spiciest varieties of free speech. Anything I can offer in return? I've mostly got firearm patterns and 3D printing files but also the random odds and ends.

If a dog is in the state a bedbound senior is in, starving them to death would be considered animal abuse. Why are dogs allowed to have a more dignified death than a human spending their last years hooked up to multiple machines?
I think the earlier person was saying that people will stop eating once they get so sick their body starts to shut down. Sometimes a doctor though will still try to 'keep them going' with some kind of tube hydration and feeding.

Oftentimes animals get put down because it's (unfortunately) much more cheaper for some people to put them down then it is to treat them. Which is the same thing that euthanasia might bring for people. Why treat the old farts when you can put them down like an animal when their usefulness comes to an end? You can even tell them it's their 'duty' to die and to stop being a burden for the shiny new adults because they're inconvenient, expensive, and they get in the way of slaving away for money and consuuuumeing.

You'd think that bumping off the filthy unvaxed would be a neato way to get the vaccination rate up.

Maybe german efficiency isn't all it's cracked up to be

The thing is though, I have. And you know what helps fix that? Good hospice care, do-not-resuscitate orders, end of life counseling to help deal with the depression and fear having a terminal illness brings. In the studies when that stuff was implemented, the desire to die by euthanasia would go away as people felt cared for and more at peace.
And what of the places that don't have hospice care or counseling available? Not everyone gets that luxury.
Locally I know that last year the hospice center had a waiting list (covid I guess). Everyone still waiting had to slowly die in the hospital or was encouraged to die at home with occasional care visits. Counseling is not a thing in that hospital, unless you count occasional talks with medical staff.
