If it's a triple threat for the US title then Melo should be the guy. Once WWE let Melo actually wrestle his kind of matches on the main roster he started to get over. It only took them a year and a half of him floundering to figure that out. Melo has history with Trick from their NXT days and honestly I don't think Trick is ready for a big singles match at WM yet, so a triple threat makes sense.
I wonder what they do with Dragunov for WM. At this point I'd just let him and Gunther beat the shit out of each other for 15 minutes, fuck it why not.
 
Random but does anyone actually consider Sol Ruca to be black? Or even biracial?
Despite who her dad is, she looks white as fuck.

It’s a weird situation.
Wouldn’t be able to tell she was biracial in a lineup if I had a gun to my head.

It's too bad Low Ki's difficult to work with since, according to Wikipedia, he sounds based.

Some smooth-brained fan thought it would be a good idea to stab Atrocity Krule (Mads Krugger, MLW) at a death match show at his merch table before everyone takes turns beating him up. Notable in attendance is Shlak (GCW) and Mickie Knuckles (JCW).

Surprisingly a tame beating. Given its an older guy, they should've done much more damage.

Krule is the nicest guy ever, and if you watch the video he’s even trying to pull people apart during the stomp down.

Picking a fight with Krule at a death match show when Shlak is in attendance is madness.

imagining it in my head she kinda looks like Brandi if she was, not necessarily a bad thing, a lot of East Africans would basically look like White people if you just changed the skin color, I could see her being like a Quad Black

There's a line for me. Stuff like FMW, IWA-Japan, I can handle because there's a fantastical level of nonsense there. Boards full of forks and toothpicks, and stuff like that is just self-mutilation for the enjoyment of adrenaline junkies and sadists.

Nick Gage tells a good story about a "fans bring the weapons" match he did. He talked about the visual appeal of weapons being used and how it has to engage the audience or you're just suffering for the sake of suffering. He took a light tube from a fan that was filled with ghost pepper powder and smacked his opponent with it. Both guys were blind and choking from the powder, legitimately struggling to finish the match with no payoff to the audience.

It's the same reason Jackass is a beloved franchise, because it's not just a guy getting his teeth knocked out, it's a guy getting his teeth knocked out by a giant, cartoonish, hand.

agreed i’m fine with nodq matches, tables,chairs, whatever is usually used in a WWE match is cool with me but when you have someone’s arm being sawed it’s like what are you even doing it’s not even just that it’s a sicko and sadistic but it also signals that you cannot get over on your athletic or storytelling capability your just a psychopath

I remember watching a Japanese match where they were stabbing eachother and I noped tf.out. I love violence i wouldn't be a wrestling and football fan if I didn't but that's some snuff film.shit. then again I never watched a death match I need to change that lol.
 
At my peak of binge watching indie wrestling, sometimes death matches could work as kind of a palate cleanser. Not so much the ultraviolent, stabbing each other with syringes and hacksaws, but the really low quality shit where they're barely trained and you can laugh at how bad it is and every match usually ends with a DDT because that's the only move they can pull off. Bonus for women's death match tournaments in the mid-2000's like IWA:MS Queen of the Death Match when Mickie Knuckles was fucking Ian Rotten (former ECW shitter who owned the company) so she was pushed over everyone and they had to find random girls to fill the brackets so she could win at the end. There's the infamous one with the Mike Levy Incident but there's another good one a year or two before that where they literally threw a girl with no training in to work with Mickie because they had no one else and she had to take staples and a body slam on insulation foam. It might have even been one of the years they had another "big name" women's death match wrestler who looked straight out of a trailer park so Mickie had to lose to, of course, a DDT in the finals. If it was possible to get the rights to the shows and do MST3K style commentators shitting on everything and making up names for everyone like the old Juggalo Championshit Wrestling that could be some hilarious content. Maybe after Ian dies so the piece of shit doesn't get any money from the idea.

Despite her looking white as fuck, like someone said above the only black trait she has is her very shapely and full ass.
