had a friend explain to me once that I was overestimating how much being a good singer mattered when I was much younger as there's millions of good singers that do fuck all with it cause they can't all be stars, feel like when he was telling me that people like Samantha was who he was referencing and what's sadder is Samantha had a built in following to get started with and a husband with a built in following. She's convinced her singing career is literally being held down via shadow bans

would be dimes honestly, Cena's last appearance in Boston is in November, so ill be getting a ticket for that
 
I think Meltzer is at least partly to blame for AEW’s injuries right now. You’ve got wrestlers who are being put into the mindset by a 60-something journalist that his arbitrary rating system is the be all and end all, and requires you to basically put your body on the line every week to get it.

Kenny’s body has been fucked for years, despite only being 41, Darby is either gonna be dead or like Droz by the time he’s 35, Ospreay’s already having significant injuries in his early 30’s, etc. If these people wrestled the majority of their career outside AEW, PWG, NJPW, they might be wrestling into their late 40s and wouldn’t be in a wheelchair and forced to piss into a catheter post-retirement

I agree being a good singer isn't everything, But she had national exposure for a while. She's easy on the eyes and can also play instruments as well. If the rumors of her leaving because she didn't wanna just be an announcer are true then, as Ernie Ladd once said, "She dumbed herself right out of position"

As much as I would pop for that I don't see it happening for a couple of reasons.

First, Trump is busy, plain and simple. Not even a year in and he's been all over the place at any given time.

Second, while reducing crime in DC might help people's perspective of him, I doubt he'd get a good reaction, even in more Republican areas. Most people who watch wrestling don't want to be reminded of real life. WWE nor Trump would want to risk such a ballsy stunt given that they're both doing so well for themselves.

Third, security. WWE has never had an active president anywhere near their shows so the Secret Service would pretty much have to oversee everything.

Fourth, the talent might not be fans of Trump and there's a chance that they'll lose their professionalism and throw a fit.

The problem there is that if they wrestled using the WWE style then no one would give a shit about them,

Getting 5 basic moves down pat and having a popular catchphrase gets you over in WWE more than actually being able to work a match.
