The best parts about him are when he was teamed with Scotty 2 Hotty and Brian Christopher.

That and "AI DIDDIT FO DA ROQ"

🥥🔫 Make a difference, Fatu.
I don't remember a single match or moment when I found Rikishi entertaining or even acceptable to watch. He's a fat stupid coconut nigger who can't work, apparently he can't promote either. I hope Stu sends him to the poor house.
Rikishi is probably the most undeserving WWE HOFer except Michelle McCool, Rock's grandmother and MAYBE Godfather. Even Koko B'ware is more deserving than him.

I thought he was a dick even before the whole Stu thing. He never even mentioned Too Cool in his HOF speech and without them he would've never gotten in

I always wonder if companies call when this stuff happens and have the awkward conversation of we gotta unbook you you like Jews or if they just fire off an email.
They probably say due to fan backlash. Jew stuff aside she seems pretty level headed and wouldn't push the issue. But I would think she has a legitimate complaint if she did.
Book her for a mixed gender match against The Final Solution.......to Hulkamania of course.
94/95 WCW was wild, like a legit fever dream. Hogan vs the Giant in a monster truck sumo match on top of an arena. Thank goodness for the nWo .

I thought they'd cancel her for going ass to mouth in her leaks. But that's still an insane reason to flood some shitty indie to cancel someone over liking Israel too much. I wonder what MJF thinks about this situation?

Tony Khan running after the Don Calis family gonna beat up the dastardly heels himself.

The fuck is that nerd doing? He's getting to the point where he's more into putting himself into the product he bankrolls than Herb Abrams, not quite Dixie level but who knows.

Why would you overcomplicate your preshow of all things there’s gonna be two different pre-shows going on at once???

Isn’t the preshow meant to convince people to buy the show? Why would you give the pre-show with the matches to the people that have already bought the damn service?

probably has deals of "exclusive preshow" vs "a preshow"

472k for Dynamite last night. Lowest ever viewers in its regular timeslot.

Maybe doing a residency in ECWs old bingo-hall venue for the past couple of weeks was a bad idea because it makes your national TV show look ghetto as fuck.

I haven't tuned in post Forbidden Door. There's nothing of interest in any of the builds to All Out. And I'm so fucking tired of the eight man tag matches Tiny puts on the show every week. You know Omega has a limited shelf life so why is he a part of this multi-man slop, Tony? The 2300 venue is a dirty shithole that makes the show look low rent and reminds me of 2017 era Impact zone. Tony as a booker has no visions, no ideas and is rehashing the same 5 plot points over and over and over again. Trannies will call it cerebral and "the thinking man's wrestling show". But normal people will just not tune in. The 0.04 for Collision was disastrous but this 472k for Dynamite is arguably even worse.

After this TV deal is done, they should just have 1 PPV a month and ditch TV. They would likely save money in the long run.

Dave was saying they put up big numbers not long ago, 690k and 710k and the odd 765k for the CMLL show. 2 years ago that would've been bad, now its good? Is shows how much they've fallen.

They need to find between 1500-3000 seat arenas. Anything smaller it looks bad, anything bigger and they cant sell it out.

Wait what?!
This was maybe 5-6 years ago, whenever the big leak for women wrestlers came out after Paige's. Victoria had a short video where she gets fucked in the ass then ends with her sucking it. I haven't watched it since it first leaked, maybe there was an edit and I got worked, but I remember that being a thing everyone talked about on /pw afterwards.

Because Omega wants to wrestle regardless of how much he's actually able to contribute and no one is willing to sit down with him and advise him against it because they're getting paid too well to care.
With Omega clearly nearing the end of his career, he should be used as a special attraction having "dream matches" (if only Tony hadn't run that term into the ground) on PPVs and the occasional appearance on TV to hype up those matches. I get he wants to keep doing the slop bullshit where a bunch of guys just beat each other up in a cage with weapons or whatever, but it's not doing his health any favors. He looks absolutely awful. I think the diverticulitis fucked him up a lot more than has been let on. Make 2026 his retirement run year and build up to his retirement match in the Tokyo Dome for Wrestle Kingdom in 2027. I'm not even a fan of his and I'd like to see him have a dignified exit.

Very gay "sport". Why not punch or stab your enemy? Why would you want to grab big sweaty men instead? Greek artifice to avoid considering themselves gay.

TNA is back this time for real I swear! It’s good now! It could become the number two company!

well, yes, the TV numbers are getting lower. So yeah, every single year lower numbers are going to be good numbers. This is not in defense of AEW, like, a good number for fucking Shark Tank or Modern Family or Gunsmoke reruns is different from what it was 1, 2, 5, 10, 15 years ago etc etc. Yes numbers can go from bad to good if the medium itself is shrinking.

ESPN was the second most watched cable network of 2024 averaging 1.67 million viewers in primetime, a slight (-2%) falloff from 2023. ESPN’s audience delivery highlights the continued popularity of live premium sports with television viewers. While the network continues to add to its programming lineup such as the newly expanded 12-team college football playoff (CFP). There is anticipation ESPN will launch a direct-to-consumer service sometime in 2025.

USA Network, which has added more sports to its programming schedule, averaged 673,000 primetime viewers, a slight -2% loss from 2023. In 2014 however, USA cable network had averaged nearly 2.2 million viewers in primetime. In addition, WWE Raw, which ranks among USA’s top-rated programs in 2024, has moved to Netflix.

In 2024, a number of top tier cable network had year-over-year double-digit declines in primetime viewers, as viewers dropped cable and/or watched more content on streaming platforms. In 2024 HGTV, History, FX, AMC, Freeform (formerly ABC Family), Food, Lifetime, A&E, TLC and Discovery, all recorded double-digit year-over-year declines in primetime. All ten networks had averaged fewer than 700,000 viewers in 2024, compared to over one million viewers in 2014.

here is WWE year over year average for a decade an a half

2000: 5.88
2001: 4.64
2002: 4.01
2003: 3.76
2004: 3.67
2005: 3.81
2006: 3.90
2007: 3.61
2008: 3.27
2009: 3.57
2010: 3.28
2011: 3.21
2012: 3.00
2013: 3.01
2014: 2.95
2015: 2.64
2016: 2.26

if you just looked at the numbers you'd be able to say business fell off a cliff, but it didn't, those numbers and even a little bit lower were good enough to get the FOX billion dollar deal, the peacock deal etc and now even lower is getting billion dollar streaming deals and shit. What is and is not a good number does in fact change, and forever will.

The loss in cable viewing is chronicled by Nielsen’s monthly Gauge Report. In the November 2024 report, cable TV accounted for 25.0% audience share among all viewers. By comparison, in November 2023 cable’s audience share was 28.3%, in November 2022 cable accounted for an audience share of 31.8%

WWE numbers are also good now at numbers that years ago would have been horrifying, NXT getting 600k as the third brand, if they got 600k during the time they went head to head with AEW people would have written essays about what went wrong. Honestly, a stupid statement overall to act like expectations can't change when everyone knows TV is plummeting off a cliff.

Smackdown, Collision and Dynamite got record low ratings, all in one week. All 3 are the big American wrestling shows still on cable, a dying medium. People want the ratings to spell the death of whatever wrestling company offends them most weather that be WWE or AEW but reality is all it's spelling out right now is the death of cable and both companies are set up well for streaming.

I personally look forward to the death of cable so boomer ass wrestling fans can stop latching onto the ratings for dear life in any and all arguments because a few WWE documentaries and Eric Bischoff convinced them the ratings from 28 years ago are still barometers to be used today.
