You should explain to him that Nitro and RAW were basically just commercials for the upcoming PPV. That's why there's a lot of non-finishes and stuff like that. If you want to see the good stuff you had to buy the PPV.

If this isn't a work, it's crazy how much he had the machine behind him and still couldn't do anything semi-interesting until these last few months.

Work or not, I don't care either way. Kross is boring and I don't get what people see in the guy. He has a cool entrance and Scarlett by his side, but there's nothing interesting about him. When Triple H was put in charge, Kross did deserve a second chance because Vince really screwed him over so I understand why he was brought back. Kross was given a lot of opportunities to do something good and it never happened. This recent feud with Sami had a lot of potential to go somewhere, but every time they had a match it sucked. If you have three matches with Sami and none of them are good, the problem is with you. If Kross is gone, he'll do very well on the indies.

I feel like he'd be a better actor than wrestler. I've only ever had interest in him whenever he was talking.
 
The amount of hype from the IWC over fucking Karrion Kross of all people is fucking insane, if ever he signs a contract and comes back he'll be just another guy after 2 weeks.

What's more likely: A) Karrion Kross and Scarlett are released as part of a weird viral work shoot thing so people will be blown away when they return or B) Triple H likes Karrion Kross but knows he's not worth the money so gave him some sweeteners and promoted his book so he'd be able to hit the indies and sort of survive.

Triple H's biggest flaw is that he's got his guys who are complete fucking deadweights but he likes them as people and knows that they've probably been blacklisted from AEW so won't be able to make any money. Rather than saying "huh, that's business and good luck" he keeps bringing them back. The Good Brothers, Strowman, fucking Karrion Kross, The Serial Killer dude who I've completely forgotten the name of who was involved in the Johnny Gargano storyline etc.

Keeping guys who aren't worth it around on six figures just because you like them is dumb business. If Triple H doesn't stop this he's going to find himself out of a job once the TKO guys realise he's had too many chances.
 
Kross has had one Gimmick that I can immediately remember (his whole “Corrupter” schtick which I remember most for leading into a faction of himself, Austin Aries, and Moose in TNA), but I repeat myself by saying that he is the modern equivalent of Marc Mero.

He has all the intangibles that you would think one would need to succeed in Wrestling, but for whatever reason outside of a single gimmick that hasn’t worked outside of TNA, he’s never been able to make any of them click. As such, he’s basically around because his Wife is Hot, and Trip’s likes him.

The only thing he has over Mero is that Brock hasn’t swooped up his wife post-Divorce.

Swagger’s problem was his lack of personality.
He was supposed to be Kurt Angle 3.0 but didn’t have the charisma for the dorkier sides to come across as funny, nor intense enough for his in-ring work to be memorable and captivating.
Jack Swagger is what Kurt would’ve been if he insisted on his olympic feats being enough to carry him with the crowd and not turn heel.

Marc Mero could do that insane moonsault where he jumps and does a 180 on the top rope before doing a moonsault. He did that on fake Diesel before losing lmao

I understand the sentiment, but I also understand where Cornette is coming from. He was brought up during a time when ring rats were actually attractive women, and they came to shows to hook up with the wrestlers. To him, this woman was mad about not getting her payout, as she should be, she earned every nasty dollar that old fuck owes her, but all Brock did was ask for a video, then say, "I'm too drunk." and fuck off. He didn't touch, probably had no clue wtf Vince was doing, just typical carny shit he dodged.

Kross is like the modern day version of Chris Candido, mostly due to the alliterative name and hot wife/gf.

I'll give HHH a pass on Dexter Lumis. I like his look.

The one guy that I just don't understand the appeal is Aleister Black or whatever the fuck his name is. Bad tattoos + runt + muh anxiety does not make for a compelling character.

He was absolute fire in NXT, he had one of the greatest runs with the belt in the final years of the Black and Gold era. He has the look and the ability in my opinion, I blame his hype dying down on AEW, and something I still don't forgive Cody Rhodes to this day (although he defeating him probably wasn't his call but it still happened.)

I liked Kross before the IWC losers decided to like him. Same with LA Knight.
I’ve liked him for years.

I know several of you don’t but at least you all know/remember I’ve liked Kross, Knight and other guys who haven’t gotten “The Push” for years so it can’t be said I'm just hopping on a bandwagon.
