I see 1 of 4 scenarios playing out on Sunday:
The likely Option:
Cody and Cena have an honest match, Cena officially gives Cody the torch as the new whitemeat Babyface, Cody starts his second title run and Cena wrestles non-title matches for the rest of the year until he retires
The slightly less likely Option:
Double Turn happens, Cody hits Cena with the belt and officially turns heel, Codelander Kino for the next few months, Cena is horrified at what he's created but realizes he can mostly do nothing about it at this point and continues to wrestle non-title matches, maybe mentors a babyface they wanna push against the now Heel Cody
Probably not gonna happen option:
Cena is bullshitting in order for Cody to hesitate again and Cena kicks him in the balls, the real face turn happens in December, maybe even his last match
The nuclear option:
Cody and Cena have a honest match but Seth cashes-in during the match, pulling of a repeat of the WM31 heist, I still think Seths injury is real but anything can happen, Seth is Champion and Cody begins the chase, Cena pumps him up to le save wrestling from the Heyman Cabal before his retirement happens
It's not on Cena, I feel he did the best with what was given to him.
I agree with this, if Dwyane bothered to show up for at least 1 more month it could have worked a lot better, but im still interested in what happens Sunday, regardless of who goes over
