predictions for Summerslam:
Reigns and Uso beat Breakker and Reed but by a hair's breadth as to to make Breakker look as good as possible
Gunther beats Punk, I like Punk but he really doesn't need a world title at this point in his career, and Gunther can continue to be the biggest heel on RAW
Jelly Roll and Orton beat Logan (and presumably Mcintyre if his VISA problem gets sorted out), celebrities always win their matches and Rednecks love Jelly Roll as much as they do WWE, so theyll throw them a bone here
Charles and Alexa beat Roxy and Raquel, don't really give a shit about this match, but I assume they'll give Charles a belt to keep her happy considering the fact she had to put over Tiffy at Mania
Cargill beats Stratton, I think this one is the easiest prediction of Night 1, its a no-brainer to give Cargill a belt, and with Naomi having cashed in on Iyo, there is no threat of her immediately losing it
Sami beats Kross, I haven't really been invested in this feud in comparison to everything else in WWE right now, but it will be funny to see Krossfags start seething on twitter

Cody beats Cena, I don't like to say things are obvious especially with World Title matches, I could definitely be wrong here but with Cena's appearances becoming more sporadic in the lead up to his retirement in December (and I think they will want to do Cody vs Gunther II for Crown Jewel anyway), I think Cody takes the strap here after a competitive match, its honestly feels surreal as someone who grew up as a Cena Kid to soon see Cena going into a match as Champion for possibly the last time
Naomi retains as she literally just won it, even though Rhea is the face of the womens division, Naomi has had a pretty good run as a heel so I think they will keep the belt on her for the next few months, just common sense
Fatu beats Solo, this one is generally unpredictable but theyll want to make Fatu look strong so I think Solo loses here, Fatu fights off the BFTs or whatever they are called now (maybe Jimmy appears in some capacity here too)
AJ beats Dom, I think Dom is alright, but I don't think AJ will be around for too much longer so might as well give him one last run with a championship, I would like to see AJ lose it to Penta though, that would an actual 5-star match to even on a RAW, (unlike those AEW matches Meltzer jacks himself off to !)
The ladder match is literally the least predictable thing on the entire card, but ill go with the Wyatt Sicks retaining considering the fact that they also just won it, hopefully its chaotic Kino kind of like the WM17 TLC match

thats definitely true dude was off his rocker for like the last 20 years of his life, the one good thing I can say about him is that he likely knew his time was coming to an end, considering the whole HoF thing and making amends with people, even Jake Roberts, seems to be at least somewhat commendable, dying literal hours after appearing on the RAW after Wrestlemania was weird, I think he probably knew something medically that the internet didn't
 
Only in AEW does a match billed as everyone banned from ringside have the exact same run ins(minus danielson) as the last match and a ref sees one of the run ins.

I don’t know new blood versus millionaires club a was little bit like the EVP thing. It wasn’t saying it as flat out, but it was saying, like the millionaires are holding down these new young guys with backstage power.

I don’t even know what to say at this point, this was like the one thing Dave had left. If this is also untrue and the 93,000 number is only a very slight exaggeration then he’s literally got nothing.

Never really heard that about Mercedes. But I have heard that Matt and Nick are averse to anything involving in ring psychology. Most I’m going to remember them for in their role is squandering the potential for AEW to do much of anything with CM Punk.

I think it's really fascinating how almost 40 years later that some people are still obsessing over the attendance of WrestleMania III. Dave has made it a point of pride to dispute the number that WWF claimed, as if anybody is supposed to give a shit. Funny how he didn't seem to have the same curiosity for the attendance of that All In London show.

There was zero reason they couldn't have put the Outrunners over. It adds to both teams current stories.

AEW make so many of these basic mistakes with their week to week booking.

E: WWE are in the process of setting up a version of the PC in Mexico to teach the AAA guys the WWE style and get them up to speed on cutting TV quality promos. No venue picked as yet but they are hoping to have it up and running by the middle of next year and are currently training the AAA trainers by flying them into the Florida PC.

So you're going to get luchadores with 5 moves who know where the hardcam is. Not sure if that's going to work.

Saw Bret was trending on Twitter and had a mild internal panic attack until I clicked on the thing, Hulks death has me on edge for awhile, it’s going to suck even more when Bret passes

Yeah, it’s gonna suck because the tributes will be fucking insufferable. Punk and FTR alone will cry at least twice each on camera, dress like the dude, do like 17 spots each every match that are direct rips of Bret spots. The remaining Harts will be insufferable like Natty. Martha will pretend to like him. HHH and HBK will give tributes ignoring everything they ever did if he dies before them. It’s going to fucking blow. If he dies and FTR is already retired or Punk because he lives that long they’ll come out of retirement and make it about themselves for months. Dudes got the most annoying fans and the most annoying haters. It’s gonna blow on all ends.

It was brutal TMZ was interviewing Flair about Hogan's death while Flair was still crying intensely about it. In a better world they would have waited a little longer so Ric wasn't crying the second the conversation began, give him more time to be calmer about it and maybe think a bit more about what he wants to say about it.

One of them did a victory lap in a poorly attended Collision taping in the ring the week that Punk was kicked from the company basically adding more confirmation to the rumors of petty backstage feuding. They also tried to milk some of the recent Death riders/Mox world champ storyline by briefly injecting themselves into one of the PPV main events and trying to hint at making a big Heel faction (by combining two of them.)
