I'm butthurt about it cause I just want Punk to win something cause I highly doubt he's beating Gunther
I like Punk don't get me wrong, but Gunther is the hot stuff at least for me now, I don't think Jey's 5 week or so run with the belt was literally the Holocaust the IWC claims it is, but for me personally the Big Gold 2.0 or whatever the fuck you want to call it should be around Gunther's waist at least until next WrestleMania
Cuckoldery to the highest level

Forgot to even comment on Unreal. I was hoping it would be a little more candid as it feels we’re getting the documentary bits that HHH wants us to see.

Also I guess I do owe The Rock an apology it does seem that the lamest parts of the Cena heel turn are due to Triple H and the writers exclusively. Can’t really blame Dwayne for choosing movies and vacation over this.

The IWC bitching about Bron Breaker is just more proof of how enshittened and faggot infested the IWC is now. He doesn't do acrobatic circus flips all the time but I believe him and he actually looks like he can fight. Which puts him above the goat looking redditors like Zayn and Daniel Bryan. His promo skills are fine for being in his late 20's. People forget we didn't get Big Poppa Pump until he was 36. But the IWC just want flippy midget men who should be stacking shelves at my local Asda.

Funny thing is Zayn is an inch taller than Bron. Bron having the muscle man physique just proves that Vince wasn’t wrong in wanting to have wrestlers with impressive builds.

I could whine that Bron just doing Spears isn’t very exciting but I don’t think that’s a problem of Bron being a limited wrestler more so that the WWE continues to want the talent doing the same shit repeatedly.

Drew recently said that like 85% of the roster don't have the required builds for the job and look like they'd be your cashiers and he is right. For example I like Dom's character but compare his physique to Eddy's or even Rey's

Is it just me, or are wrestling fans online getting worse? I mean recently. I've only been exposed to shit on X and Reddit, but it's way out of hand.

Rey should beat him up with a chancla more.

Maybe it's the Hogan backlash and the virtue-signaling. You're probably right.

I try to ignore Wrestling Twitter (or whatever it's called now), with the recent big stories I was curious and immediately overwhelmed by all the nonsense and rage. I suppose my tolerance for the IWC dropped to nothing, just like quitting drinking.

There’s a reason why I think he’s going to be one of the top guys in the coming years, he’s young, makes up for big lack of height by with his width, has a natural look, and the fans go nuts over him, I attended a live raw a few months back and the crowd was going fucking crazy for the guy during his enterance, now that he has Paul by his side I think a top spot is secure for him, main eventing the first night of Summerslam against Roman tells me WWEs management thinks highly of him and I can see why, in 2-3 years we’re going to be discussing Breakker vs Fatu in the main event of Wrestlemania

There's a lot wrong with Dom besides his physique, I legit feel like I must be having a stroke seeing people cheer for him just for having a cheap Guerrero cosplay.

Better time then ever to capitalize on Hulk Hogan merchandise. I wonder if Jeff Jarrett has anything to do with this?

Apparently, LJN was sold to Acclaim Entertainment in 1990. Acclaim later went bankrupt in 2004. A group of investors launched a new company using the Acclaim trademark in 2025. Jarrett is one of the people involved in the corporate revival.
LJN shut down due to lawsuits from their Enterech toy line which made realistic looking toy guns. From Wikipedia:

The end of Entertech's short-lived success was due in part to incidents in which law enforcement officers shot and killed children toting toy guns, claiming to have mistaken them for actual firearms. Toy guns were used in robberies of retail establishments and banks. Amid these highly publicized incidents, Entertech voluntarily began manufacturing guns with blaze orange-colored caps in 1987, and began a line of less-realistic neon-colored guns later that year.

They then were purchased by Acclaim a
And used a publisher to skirt Nintendo's 3rd party rules. LJN has a reputation of making horrible games, yet they've never made a single one. They just published them.

LJN IP has been owned by Chalkline (That's Company that makes jackets and shorts for WWE and other nostalgia 90s IPs) since 2019.

They actually licensed it Jazwares who makes AEW figures. They released 3 figures Cody, Darby, Punk but they weren't in scale with the OG ones from the 80s.

TKO acquired the name earlier this year and Mattel will re-release vintage ones in proper scale and new ones as well.[/ISPOILER]

1000% yes but I think Social Media has made every fandom worse just look at Vidya and Film discussions on X and Reddit it’s zero critical thinking skills, according to some every piece of entertainment now le sucks, there’s valid criticism of everything but it’s almost as if people are too retarded to see anything that’s good about something, is WWE perfect ? No but the PPVs generally keep me sports entertained for a few hours and that’s what’s important even relatively bad PPVs like this years MITB (by HHH standards) are still somewhat capable of doing that also now that I think of it this is truly the last place to have any meaningful discussion about wrestling Reddit is just Smarks, Xitter is just overreactive crying wiggers, and /pw/ is just rape fanfiction and fed wars, all things considered its funny that a site dedicated to monitoring lolcows like Chris Chan is the last generally sane bastion of the internet wrestling community

You can dig up old usenet posts from the 90s where people were bitching just as hard as they are now.

E: Here's a random ass forum post talking about this 12 years ago:

Yeah, back in '98 the IWC was bitching about Goldberg's streak. So WCW ended it. Now it's seen as a huge mistake looking back.

Personally I don't think it was that bad. It was going to end eventually and Nash doing it, with interference, was a valid way.

If you know what words like Smark are you are a Smark

Yup, getting worse. The internet made it worse since every person that has access to it thinks their opinions matter the most, no matter how shitty their opinions are.

They think they can do a better job from their homes by doing fantasy bookings, harass the wrestlers for having a different opinion or political stance, declare war on anyone who even makes a slight or even valid criticisms of their favorite wrestler, letting their creepy sides emerge whenever they discuss female wrestlers, harassing wrestlers in every place they go by making them sign multiple items, the list goes on......

People who act like entitled retards for a "fake sport" will always be cringe.

I think the mistake was how they presented the Streak, at a certain point adding victories which turned off us aspies who actually kept track, and by December '98 Goldberg was being openly booed by part of the audience. I don't recall if the piped in chants were a thing by then, but that didn't help. It wasn't the Streak itself that was the problem, it was WCW's handling of it (especially the end).
