You won't be saying that once they make Mr. Beast a babyface.

Logan is tolerable because he's a heel.
if I had two options to build a promotion around, two dozen fairly popular livestreamers or two dozen NCAA top-level athletes
I would pick the livestreamers every time
you can teach running the ropes, you can't teach getting over

okay AEW ass-cam I appreciate your efforts but I really didn't need Samoa Joe's ass

If they really want to appeal to women shave Samoa Joe bald and give him a ugly old bastard gimmick.

BRUV

edit- AEW healed my TV!
I have no idea what but some sequence of strobes fixed a big dead pixel gash down the middle of the screen
I use it as a computer monitor as much as anything so it wasn't an issue, it was free from shit that my job was going to throw out.
Tony did SO much cocaine it can restart the hearts of TVs!
Can’t get a milly but can bring tvs back to life

Fixed that for you. Iyo can actually wrestle - Jade is fucking useless unless she's being carried hard by her opponent.
Nah it's like Vince used to say, perception is reality. Jade can't wrestle but she looks like Sheeva from Mortal Kombat, so she's more believable as a fighter (when used right and protected). The prepubescent children in Japanese wrestling may be able to go in the ring, but they're not believable combatants. Neither are the doughy Latinas.

Just watched a compilation of Undertaker's undefeated Wrestlemania streak.

"Undertaker did this not just for himself tonight but for the memory of the late great Paul Bearer."

God Dang it why do you have to pull on my heart strings like that WWE.

Speaking of Undertaker anyone remember when Ken Shamrock called him out by calling him Mark just curious if there was a backstory to it or was Ken just being braindead.

This was during the Ministry days and I recall the storyline was Taker really believed he was the Lord of Darkness and not playing a character. So you had guys like Ken and Vince addressing Taker by his real name to basically talk some sense into him.

Meanwhile, Becky Lynch (either in character or for real) hates being compared to Hulk Hogan, which I have to agree. One revolutionized the business in two separate decades and the other got famous after being shoot punched in the face.

The scary thought is that Jade spent TWO YEARS being trained by Bryan Danielson and utterly failed to improve in any noticable way.

That's a whole new level of "Maybe you should consider other career options".

Has danielson trained anybody successfully? I know he's supposed to be this great technical wrestler but teaching is a different animal, I remember somebody saying he was an obnoxious indie worshipper type so it would make sense if it was a retard x retard situation where jade is a kween who doesn't wanna learn from da yt man and bryan doesn't give a shit about her because she didn't pay her dues and grind through the indies.

Usually the people best at something make the worst teachers. If something comes more natural to someone, they'll often have trouble teaching others how to do it

Danielson would be good in teaching wrestlers how to properly do moves, but it's one of those situations where you can't teach presence, charisma, giving a shit, believability, likeability, etc.. Jade looks great and WWE has gone out its way to present her like a big star, which helped initially get her over because of the hype. I think enough time has passed to know that Jade is never going to be one of those wrestlers who "gets it" enough to truly become a star. I'm hoping WWE doesn't try to force a world title reign on her because fans will see right through it as a desperate attempt to get her over.

Depends on what kind of wrestling you're talking about. A guy like Brock Lesnar might be an athletic freak of nature but there's a reason he's only got to a state championship in amateur wrestling. Kurt Angle might be a bit of a weirdo addicted to a bunch of prescription pain killers but he's still an Olympic level amateur wrestler so when him and Brock had an amateur wrestling match backstage he pretty quickly took Brock down.

Guy might be out of his mind nowadays but there's a reason he got his gold medals.
He meant pure in the sense of being a good guy with no skeletons. The discussion before was about most wrestlers being pieces of shit. Since you're probably a /pw rapefugee Earthquake would also be a good example of a pure wrestler that was a good guy.

What do you mean? Hulk was already famous long before he got punched.

Personally, I think Danielson isn't the kind of teacher that would fully benefit Jade. Like somebody else said, teaching her the basics is fine, but beyond that? She isn't the kind of talent that should be doing catch wrestling, submissions, strong style/Kings Road type shit.

She should be taught by what they need her to be in the women's division, a fucking monster.
