Heyman is great. Good on the mic, great for creative, certainly more deserving than half the current HoF.
Yeah I'm not denying it. WWE Hall of Fame is full of celebrity Hall of Famers that barely did anything. Donald Trump of all people is a WWE Hall of Famer (and this was in 2013 before he became president), and Heyman definitely contributed WAY more to the industry than other WWE Hall of Famers like William Shatner, Drew Carrey, or Snoop Dogg. The thing is if someone like Drew Carrey can get in your sports "Hall of Fame" for making a quick gag appearance than getting in your Hall of Fame isn't quiet as prestigious an honor as WWE would like to pretend it is.

Meanwhile Vince McMahon is one of the most influential people in the industry ever and due to getting #MeTooed there's a good chance he will die before he ever gets inducted. Imagine that, we live in a world where Vince McMahon can't even get into the WWE Hall of Fame but Drew Carrey can. And someone like Chris Benoit? Well I don't need to explain why he will obviously never get inducted.

I didn't even mean celebs. Dwayne's grandma? Koko B. Ware? Thunderbolt Patterson? (based speech though)

To be fair, I don't think there are too many celebrities who really are WWE HOF worthy. Trump is as worthy as any of them considering he was somewhat involved in the product in the 80s and then the battle of the billionaires. The "celebrity wing" idea was stupid in general though considering there's very little celebrity involvement, certainly not enough to worthy any of them to be in the HOF

Not that it matters, though. Lia Maivia, Rikishi, Godfather and Michelle McCool are in the HOF. There's zero reason any of those 4 should be in it if the HOF is to be taken seriously. I am sure some day Santino Marella will be, too.

Imagine being a fat out of shape Jewish caricature like Paul Heyman and you somehow talk yourself into getting in a sports hall of fame. Zero athleticism. His greatest accomplishment in the industry was probably creating ECW but he's probably in the WWE Hall of Fame for pointing at Brock Lesnar and yelling about how great he is. Only in wrestling.

Freddie Blassie and Captain Lou Albano are both in the Hall of Fame and not for their largely forgotten careers as wrestlers.

To be fair, I think the majority of the HOF (minus the celeb wing) is meant to be a "Thanks for your service" sorta thing.

Like I highly doubt Cora Jade or KC2 would even get in unless they up the inductees to 10+ a year, but we could see Sheamus, The Bar, Ziggler, etc enter in the next 10 or so years.

Speaking of human garbage, two hall of famers - Pat Patterson and Koko B. Ware - were implicated in the Ring Boys lawsuit, which has been amended. Three more men have joined the lawsuit as plaintiffs/victims.

John Doe 6, a Mississippi resident, alleges that he met Phillips around 1988, when he was 11 or 12 years old. After a WWF house show on July 14, 1989, he was told he needed to stay in Patterson’s hotel room while other underage ring boys stayed in Phillips’ room. In Patterson’s room, Doe 6 alleges he was given alcohol, Patterson played pornography on the television, and forced Doe 6 to give Patterson oral sex and vice versa.
Doe 6 claims he was grabbed in the crotch by wrestler Koko B. Ware with many other witnesses present, including Phillips, Patterson, ring crew member and later ring announcer Tony Chimel, and referee Danny Davis.
“In front of everyone else in the room, Koko B. Ware told John Doe 6 to get against wall [sic], pushed John Doe 6’s head against wall [sic], patted him down, and then grabbed John Doe 6’s crotch.”
The updated lawsuit states that most others in the room laughed, except Chimel, who “said something like, ‘don’t do that, let him go.'” Chimel later told Doe 6 that he shouldn’t be on the ring crew and that he should run away, according to the complaint. good guy chimel but still I wish he had done more.

Before another WWF event in Baltimore on April 10, 1982, Doe 8 alleges Phillips sexually abused him and another underage ring boy at a hotel. In Phillips’ room, Doe 8 alleges the ring announcer told the boys to get undressed. While wearing only underwear, Phillips allegedly put the boys’ “feet on his penis to compare sizes. Phillips was aroused.” The boys were also allegedly offered cocaine and pills by Phillips.

Give me my top hats, but on a fundamental level you have to be a malicious piece of shit to not only develop a fetish for children, but develop a gay fetish for children and then actually do something based on that fetish.
Least of all in an industry where you've had all sorts of promiscuous female fans and female athletes strutting around half naked and reveling in their sexuality.
Fuck these god damn niggers.

I'm gonna say it, and i'm not denying that it happened, but the fact that they are suing now because of the Vince/Janel Grant lawsuit when all of the people who did it are dead now, and not suing while these men were still alive, especially during the whole steroid trial when WWF was at its lowest reputation wise due to the US Government being involved, makes it look like that this is more of people trying to get money rather than getting any sort of justice whatsoever.

It will happen in five years, tops. HGH gotta suck that celeb cock, like him sending title belts to sports teams and other assorted ego masturbation.
Sending title belts to sports teams is part of marketing. Seeing teams who just won a championship party with the belt is good PR for WWE and they upload videos on social media for attention. Not sure how that's supposed to be a bad thing.

Yeah, a lot of NFL and MLB guys are fans of wrestling so it's sort of a cool thing for WWE to send them an actual belt even if they are only doing it for PR.

They pay them back by showing them on camera at events and giving them a nameplate graphic and a shoutout. Harmless stuff.

It's all about the money at the end of the day, why else would you sue Vinnie Mac when he stopped paying you enough money? I don't believe Janel's doing it "for justice," if she was paid up to now then we wouldn't be hearing her name and we won't be hearing more about the sick stuff about Vinnie Mac.

The three lovely ladies that WWE signed as part of AAA.
