This is why WWE needs to keep dumbass niggers who don't know the first thing about throwing a worked strike out of the ring. Cody's laying there selling and this stupid motherfucker hits him in the side of the head and you see Cody grab his ear in pain. If this was the old days the boys in the back would have beaten the shit out of him afterwards.

Seems they've remembered now that Vince is gone. I enjoy a lot of old kino matches and storylines being free on YouTube now. Wish more companies took notes from WWE.

Honestly the heel turn was the best thing for him. He has the second season of peace maker coming in August. With all the eyes on him from this and mania will make him the DC star that Dwayne wanted to be.

I mean shit they edited the recap to look like a horror movie trailer on raw .



I am curious with John going for Cody who is mainly in smackdown and the Wyatt sicks being on smackdown we get a callback to the firefly fun house match with bray calling John a bullet and what not.

In all possible scenarios he'll look goofy no matter what you're gonna try to do. So considering it might be his last year of doing this he might as well go all goofy goof heel and use a face cover as a part of new image. From banal Ghost gay skull facemask to... hm, I wonder...

Cena has about as much weight in backstage politics as any other top talent. I don't doubt that he's used his position to get what he wants a few times, every Wrestler does it, but I've never heard of him being hard to work with. That's more of a Hulk Hogan thing.
The reason Cena was shoved into everything had to do with how marketable he was to kids, as a generic Superhero who defies the odds and never gives up.

Also, even though I have a lot of nostalgia for the Doctor of Thuganomics persona, and would love the silly anachronism of a 50 year old Cena dressing like that, I agree with the sentiment that it wouldn't work. It's just too fun and lighthearted for the story they seem to be telling.

this, he probably was more politick-happy in his prime from 2007-2012, but hes put over a metric fuck ton of people in the period afterwards and when he went part-time, I honestly believe he would have zero issue putting over Cody at Mania if thats the plan
