So Roman has to be matched against The Rock this Wrestlemania right? It’s what everyone’s been waiting for ever since Rock came back as part time. Maybe I’m missing The Bloodline storyline because I don’t follow Smackdown (doesn’t work with my schedule) but it feels like there’s nothing left for Roman’s character to prove there.

I’m wondering what they’re gonna do with Punk, I feel like the only sensible thing for Punk’s character to do is heel turn with the corporate faction. I’m imaging him being an opportunist “I have to look out for myself in the end this is a business. Cody the sad truth is there is no way you’re beating Cena this Wrestlemania.” A lot of IWC nerds want Punk to use his favor with Heyman to make the main card a triple threat. Personally I hate Triple Threats I think they’re gimmicky and don’t really serve any wrestler’s arc.

I won’t lie last time I actually got caught up in ongoing Wrestling stories I was still a kid believing kayfabe. I’m genuinely interested to watch the story unfolds. I think Heel Cena and Cody should be a full program.
So they stacked the odds against Cody with the Rock and Cena together and Mania will be in Nevada. Does this mean Austin will show up to help Cody?
If Austin appears he’s not doing much he had knee replacement surgery in late 2024.
They would have done something similar as what they did with Penta.

Educate the fans. Tell the fans that this is someone BIG. If you don't know him, pay attention. Production values out of the ass. Set Okada up with someone on par with Gable to get him over. And have him, for the first time ever, run a proper match with selling and story telling. Make him look like a world beater and sell enough merch to run a 3rd world country for a year.

Basically the fucking opposite of what AEW keeps doing.

The two companies could flip rosters tomorrow and I honestly think that within 2 months, AEW would be a distant second again.

AEW is almost like a farm territory/banishment threat to talent for WWE.
The only time I hear about AEW is when they have a really well choreographed match that Cagematch worships or they have some fuck up.

Liv looking like Dom beat her up.

Seeing Okada playing second fiddle to the Bore Bucks is as insulting as him playing "Kato" back in his TNA days.
It's criminal how much talent that Tony has fucking wasted. Okada would need to take months off the air to get the stink from his AEW run.

Same here. I'm thinking a sort of angle like the NWO, but related to Hollywood based on the Rock's and Cena's connection to the film industry.

I've always wondered how the NWO angle could have worked with a coherent story line and the self control to not just put random wrestlers into the stable.

I’m actually watching Elimination Chamber with Papa Howler and holy shit…The absolute MARKS in that stadium. It’s almost AEW levels of bad. Canada is a weird place, not good.

Heel Cena is too big to not main event imho, and if they pull the trigger on Rock vs Roman that has to main event, unless they did Rock vs Roman night 1 which makes no sense to me

while I would like Punk to Main Event, I agree with this, Seth fucked him over in the Chamber and Roman is pissed at Seth too for what he did at the Rumble, and im generally not a fan of Triple Threats main eventing WrestleMania either, maybe a tag match with Punk and Roman vs Seth and someone else, a Triple Threat with nothing on the line would be a bit awkward

nothingburger with this one but im still really surprised at liv's welt from getting slapped with bianca's hair that hard. i know its not new for people who go against bianca but still, yeesh. good match all and all with all of the shit they pulled off but im still laughing over the absurdity of getting slapped with a girls braid so hard that you fall off the fighting platform

Mildly unrelated, but y’know what I miss? ECW’s Three Way Dance. It was just a Triple Threat with Elimination rules, but at the very least it didn’t have the third wheel be completely useless in the end of the match. Still a total gimmick match though.

Least it’s still better than the time WWE tried to make a PPV out of the Fatal Four-Way match…

I seriously hope they avoid Romun vs Rock as the payoff feud to all this, Tribal Chief reclaiming his spot as Head of the Coconut Nigger Table by beating The Final Boss oh God just saying it makes me wanna throw up

I haven't watched pro wrestling in 15 years. But i am somewhat interested in dipping my toe back in seeing Cena turn heel.
the product generally has been enjoyable for the past couple years or so, while there is still valid criticism in some aspects theres a lot more people coming back, the product is far better with HHH getting the book, I wouldn't say its like Attitude Era levels of good thus far but its a consistent and entertaining product again to me personally, I usually catch the important segments that happen on RAW or SD on YouTube then watch the PPVs live

Thuganomics Cena would be too "fun" for the character that he's playing now. He needs a total change of image. No jorts, no bright T-shirts, none of that. I know I said that he should go bald or at least shave, but the weird proportions of his head might make him look a bit goofy. He needs to look brutal, unforgiving , and maybe even a little scary.

Punk is going to cash in his favor with Heyman to make it to the main event. I know people don’t like Triple Threats (for some reason) as Main events of mania but this is how you protect Cody.
Have Punk take the pin and Cena wins the title.
I’m still smelling a Cody heel turn coming.

I don't think Cena's winning at Mania.
Gotta agree with this. I am getting a lot of WrestleMania 3 vibes with Cody as Hogan,Cena as Andre, and Rock as Heenan, a long beloved babyface going heel to challenge the top guy in the company, My current thoughts are this heel run will be short but an absolutely amazing one, Cena will probably turn fave again soon after Mania to retire as a Babyface in December

I really really really hope they keep Punk far far far away from this
