you have a point,I mean honestly I think Punk is more likely and sell his soul to go heel if he does end up winning, with Cena having an expiration date in December it would be pointless to even consider turning him heel at this point even though us Cena Zoomers are 20+ adults now, not to mention another plothole being Rock wants someone to hold the title and Cena would have to vacate in order to retire, I honestly think Rock being in Punks corner with Cody going over Punk is the most likely scenario for the main event

Punk still has his "favor" from Heyman, so that may play into him being added to whoever will face Cody unless he decides to use it for the Jey/Gunther match lol.

thats true, as much as I'd like to see Cody go at it with Punk in the main event 1-on-1 I wouldn't mind Cena winning it and Punkster put in his favor, I see four possibilities for Cody

Cody/Punk
Cody/Cena
Cody/Cena/Punk
some sort of Final Boss fuckery happens tonight leading to some other plan.

Who is this match for supposed to be for? Nobody likes either heel and Trish can't really go anymore. Sigh. Stop giving us nostalgia matches for the sake of nostalgia, give us what the Hardy's on NXT was.

Rollins never recovered from that time he declared himself the best wrestler in the world and said WWE was the peak of wrestling when Ospreay was on an absolute tear in NJPW and AEW had just started.

The most mediocre member of the Shield patting himself on the back for wrestling the same match over and over was not a good look. His current character is zero charisma guy who dresses flamboyantly to try to have a gimmick who is married to someone who has already achieved more in her career than he ever will.
