He needs money after getting ripped off by Lars Frederiksen in a property deal

iirc the legend that The Rancids hustled him about real estate goes back to before he joined AEW?

That's been scuttling around, but there's been crap up on social media where he's buddy buddy with them after those rumours started circulating. I was surprised to see Punk's face show up in Rancid's social media.

Matt Hardy walks like a overweight black woman
That Leg Drop from the cage really fucked him up. Probably one of the most spectacular cage match moments ever, next to Snuka, and easily in the top Hardyz moments. But Matt is going to be in a wheelchair sooner than later.

Literally nothing.

If you look up Paradigm's previous press releases, you can quickly see that their talent roster is z-tier nobodies that aspire to land a gig at the CW.

Z-tier nobodies like Alexa Bliss, CM Punk, Drew Mac and also Tiffany Stratton along with her real world equivalent Sabrina Carpenter.

I think we are getting either Heel Cody or Heel Punk soon, leaning towards the latter as Cody is the most popular wrestler among children and WWE loves merch sales, either way i would for sure be in favor of Cody vs Punk as the main event especially with Rock in the corner of whoever turns
what a horrifically bad card, especially for the company that claims to care about wrestling on their weekly tv, smarks will never understand the hypocrisy of their justifications for AEW

I watched a classic WCW Saturday Night last week. It was fascinating because it was way before my memory of wrestling. Never saw Surfer Sting.

But anyway what blew my mind was that the show felt like 90 percent wresting and 10 percent promos. It was a lot of matches too, seems like WCW had more short matches than WWF.

But anyway while the nostalgic 90s kid laments that Raw is now 70 percent promo soap opera and 30 percent wrestling I think it’s really for the best. I have no doubt that so many of the wrestlers of that era died young or can barely walk because they had the brutal travel schedule combined with having to constantly wrestle. Now I think the current WWE stable only do a match every other week sometimes longer and honestly good. Hulk Hogan was one of the smart ones because a big reason he joined WCW was that Ted Turner gave him a reduced schedule so he could be with his family and do Hollywood movies. No doubt Hulk didn’t die by 60 because he didn’t work himself to death.

Why? He's getting a nice paycheck at AEW and when was the last time in WWE that he was in the world title picture?
he main evented WrestleMania in 2021, he should have honestly retired after that Sheamus match, Edge peaked in the late 2000s and while im glad he eventually was able to get healthy again and have a comeback run, signing with AEW was probably one of the biggest mistakes he ever made, i feel like hes just continuing to wrestle for the sake of making up lost time

this a lot of smarks bitch about current WWEs format but playing it safe on weekly tv is for the better, espeically around Mania time you just dont want to risk injuries when its not necessary, most of the good matches in WWE take place on PPV, on a related note I always thought it was better to only have the world champion in singles matches when hes defending the title, otherwise its an occasional tag match on TV to build towards the PPV, I didn't like putting the belt on Brock considering his schedule, but I think how Cody does it is good have your occasional tag and six-mans on TV with defending the title on most PPVs, these fans are just way too demanding

Especially makes sense now that PPV matches are essentially free I mean Peacock is what $10 a month? My family never paid for a single pay preview I’m sure that’s true for most wrestling fan households. Rot in hell PPV I’ll always sail the high seas for UFC.

BTW I just realized that NXT in a sense is the reincarnated WCW. WCW mostly taped shows in Florida and then did tours. NXT is just in Florida. Brilliant idea to put the fresh meat in a stable location where they can develop their character.

Reading Bret Hart’s book and imaging how brutal it could be to be traveling and performing some 300+ days a year sounds awful. It’s undeniable that Wrestling peaked in the mid 90s, and there is no damn reason to top it. They’re still get hurt enough in the current incarnation.

It's fucking crazy that UFC PPVs are $80. Who in the blue fuck is paying for that?

Fight Pass is shite as well because it only offers events 2 days after they've happened when dudeweedbonerhitler420 has a torrent up 5 minutes after the show finishes.
