I think it's time to put ol' Chris Jericho out to pasture:

Either he's working that 'old vet' gimmick so well that he kayfabed me, or the man just really can't move anymore.

Jesus Christ this is terrible. So getting whacked with the belt isn't good enough for a 3 count but some half-assed reverse clothesline is? Get the fuck out of here with that shit. Both men should be embarassed.

Ethan Page vs Hangman Page vs Christian Cage vs Brian Cage in a cage match with special guest referee Diamond Dallas Page.
“Rage in the Cage” match.

Fuck it, I'll mark for that. Absolute kino.

It makes me appreciate the GOATs who had old man matches but did it in style. They knew their physical limitation as father time got them and still gave great performances.

Ric Flair was already looking like an old man by the late 90s despite only being in his 40s. Part of it was due to his white hair but it was also because he wrestled like an old school wrestler. But it worked and the older style is far more forgiving out of shape wrestlers who had to travel from territory to territory. Flair was also fine no longer being the contender or champion. His WWE Retirement match against Shawn Michaels is an all time classic. You don't care that it's a near 60 year old wrestler it's a well told emotional match. Michaels non-Saudi final match against Taker is of legendary status, him demanding Taker give him a proper finisher to end a match is one of the most well acted endings to any wrestling match.

Jericho still thinks it's Y2J, he could still be entertaining but he needs to play an old grizzled vet who still has a little fight left in him. I hope the rumors aren't true and Goldberg isn't doing one last match this year, unless he's got some tricks up his sleeve no one is going to pretend he's still a juggernaut.

This is how I visualized Jim Cornette and Brian Last reading to that Hardy Boyz fangirl on Twitter. (who by the language used it's more probably that it's a tranny.)

HOW can you tweet stuff like this and then inmediately trying to apologize after? BPD is a hell of a ride.

that reminds me, I've been meaning to check out the Hechicero v Blue Panther rematch, cubsfan was saying it was good stuff

Not long after Rey Fenix congratulations his brother for debuting in WWE, AEW pulls all of Rey Fenix's merchandise. Perhaps there is no correlation and it's just a coincidence 🤔
Unless they are releasing him this is likely just a spite move but ProWrestlingTees also got rid of his merch who is a partner with AEW.
What I don't get is that Since he's leaving why not just clearance all his stuff off and recoup some of the money since there is interest in him? I assume like Penta he owns the rights to his mask but I'm not sure how that goes for shirts.

Malakai Black is leaving AEW and most likely won't be on TV any more, much the same as the Lucha Bros situation.

The reaction backstage is mixed because some people are happy for him because he clearly doesn't want to be there anymore but others are glad to see him leave because he is a bummer backstage and they feel like he has buried a lot of talent by acting like it was "beneath" him to feud with them.

Not booking Malakai as a Muy Thai Undertaker is the biggest mistake that AEW ever made, as well as not strapping a rocket on the Lucha Bros.
