Pretty sure it was the brinks truck of cash that Tony offered.
I could buy that Edge also fell into the same pitfall that so many others did; thinking they could come in and make a positive influence in a company run by a clueless messageboard nerd who thinks he's the best booker in history, full of talent who think they know everything because their friends back in Cali booked them to take dick flips and do fake lucha for 300 people at a time.

Sting should have come in to WWE at least 10 years before he did. If he hadn't gone to TNA, I think he would have had some great programs. By the time he finally came around, it was too late.
Was surprised to see Sting at a fan convention a couple months ago, maybe he just likes to meet fans but thought he was busier than that.
Tbh was marked out and nervous to meet him, but he’s such a nice man and of course, he’s still Sting.

It's also hard for anyone to walk away from a career they love. It's hard to reinvent yourself.

All things considered, Edge going to AEW is a hell of a lot better than slinging it in the indies and doing fan conventions.

How has this not been posted in here yet? There's a new indie wrestler in Chicago in some Superwrestlers fed, and...well I'm not gonna spoil it. Just watch:

Best entrance ever.
IT'S STEVEN FLOWE. HE'S HERE.
Update: Super Wrestlers have put out the full length entrance music of Steven Flowe (2 weeks ago, but I just now stumbled across it being recommended to me)

WWE opened up the "Penta" merch

not bad, the Oni/Samurai look is a nice direction to go for a WWE-specific version

I think it's time to put ol' Chris Jericho out to pasture:

Either he's working that 'old vet' gimmick so well that he kayfabed me, or the man just really can't move anymore.

Honestly, he wasn't too bad up until the second half of last year but he's just really fucking slow now. Time has caught up with him.

Maybe if he wrestled less then he'd have better matches but he insists on being on TV every week and sometimes twice a week on both Dynamite and Collision.

He was a very important part of AEW in the early days but he's a tough watch recently.

That face Penta made after his leg was wrapped around the turnbuckle was hilarious. Penta's fumbled a thing or two slightly thus far, but it's understandable I suppose. I'm just happy to see him in WWE finally.

They need to modify his music though, add in Penta shouting CERO MIEDO instead of the guy they have in there.

Pulled out a Mexican destroyer, pretty cool. Remains to be seen if he uses the package piledriver but I really doubt it.

Edit: Penta driver + arm breaker! I am a happy boy. That girl in the crowd crying seems really happy he's there too.

Edit 2: oh that's his family! I'm so happy for Penta :D

the song is sorta like his old AAA theme maybe? I think it was very chuggachugga.
I'll dig through my archives of AAA's internal audio files and throw up what I find
