Gyatt zamn AJPW is full on Fire right now. They were doing pretty okay when Nakajima had his reign of terror, but the Anzai New Era they are doing now is crazy good. Their top Gaijin heel Cyrus is basically Vader in transported into 2020. Yuma Anzai looks like a movie star and is just 25. The Saito Brothers are heel that can cut a promo in English or Japanese and are both 250 lbs+ and 6'3"+. Literally the most stacked indie in the entire world and that isn't even getting into their Jrs division which is headlined by Rising Hayato, who shoots like a bullet, and is constantly filled with ex-Fed talent.
Legit the best wrestling in the world right now if you can get over the language barrier.

I don't care about Batistas politics but he looks like an elderly gay man who caught AIDS in a bathhouse in the 90s who has still managed to survive until today.

As a wrestler he was pushed far beyond his ability and was the standard-bearer "hit your spots then hit the showers" WWE guy of his dogshit era. Indie wrestling became viable because of boring talentless shitters like him so I guess he indirectly had a big influence on the industry.

I liked batista's feud with the undertaker

And takers feud with edge after that was probably the most worked i ever got as a young wrestling fan guy had me seething every Friday night and marking out when taker was finally able to give him comeuppance

Royal Quest had a massive troon sitting front row on the camera facing side. The seat next to him was empty for half the show. Guess the guy sitting next to the troon couldn't handle sitting next to the hon for more than a match at a time.
