That's pretty cool imo. I can't help but feel that it'll be mostly wrestling stories with some politics, and honestly the less politics in it, the better. Trump hosted 2 WrestleManias and shaved Vince's head so it's not like Trump would have a shortage of stories himself.
thats what im hoping for, the less politics Taker talks about with him the less likely people start sperging out at Taker
Eventually they will cancel every attitude era superstar for one thing or another, even Dwayne.
They already have freaked out at Dwyane I think, he said something about Woke teens or whatever in an interview and they got mad

>Japan is a more civilized culture.
>Japan also has had wrestling that can only be compared to the most savage of classic ECW matches.

This fucking match disturbs me more than the legendary Hell in the Cell which is masterclass with its stage work and theatrics. It’s absolutely disgusting and feels like a snuff film with how low quality the footage is . I can understand Mick falling off a cell because he was a professional stuntman. I cannot comprehend throwing your body into barbed wire.

I like brutality when its called for, like Punk and Mcintyre being a recent example, but if im being perfectly honest I dont like the outlaw indie style of hardcore shit, its just gore for the sake of gore and shaves years of wrestlers lives for nothing, im honestly shocked wrestlers like Jeff Hardy havent passed away yet (if not the bumps then the drug addictions)

On the Wikipedia article for the Taker vs Mankind Hell in the Cell it has this amusing snippet that humanizes Vince to an extent:
Backstage after the match, McMahon said to Foley, "You have no idea how much I appreciate what you have just done for this company, but I never want to see anything like that again."[58][61][35]
And if you think Vince was just bullshitting Mick Foley says Vince didn’t want thumbtacks in matches, Triple H and him snuck it in during their 2000 Hell in the Cell. My point is when VINCE thinks something goes too far it goes too damn far. Part of Mick Foley’s legacy should be that no Wrestlers try to imitate him or push it further. Foley is lucky to still be alive.

To answer the niche wrestler question here. How many of you remember Trent's WWE tag partner?

yeah, Taker thought he legitimately killed Foley during the Chokeslam off the cell spot too, that match was one of the best HIAC matches of all time, Foley is an even greater example of being held together by ducktape and prayers

Everyone talks about Jim Ross's legendary call during that moment, but I legit get chills hearing Lawler's exasperated reaction to the chokeslam through the cage.

"That's it, he's dead"

It was Danielsons neck that had him drop the belt to Mox.

He had an MRI and the entire thing is badly damaged. They're going to try stem cells but if it doesn't work they'll do surgery.

That stuff is wild the first time you watch it but each successive time it gets less and less interesting unless they do things that are even more insane. But at some point you go from this is insane to this is insanely retarded.

Megumi Kudo's FMW matches are really hard to watch.

MCMG debuted for WWE on fucking twitter. Guess they are going to be used as experienced jobbers for whatever absolute scutter flavour of the month pair-of-failed-athletes that comes up from NXT.

Crunk Douglas and Deshawn Wilson are going to go over one of the best tag teams ever multiple times. I hope Shelley and Sabin are getting paid a fortune for this nonsense.

There's a often forgotten about barbed wire match between Foley and Funk that happened before this match. I believe Foley himself described it as looking like a snuff film.

Vince McMahon has never been loved all around. Like a chokeslam to the mat, he is forceful, direct and lacking sensitivity. But few really know just how painful it was to work for the man that made the WWE what it is today. The new Netflix documentary 'Mr. McMahon' reveals a side to the wrestling tycoon that verges on criminal, and Piers Morgan is suitably intrigued.

Joining Piers for an intellectual bout is ex-WWF star and Youtuber Maven Huffman, ex WWE announcer Jonathan 'Coach' Coachman, WWF head writer during Attitude era Vince Russo, Outkick broadcaster and ex WWE backstage interviewer Charly Arnolt. During the discussion, they're all lulled into a false sense of security, right before Piers brings in one last surprise.

"DON'T CALL ME BRO, BRO!"

Wish that Cornette was there as well. It's gonna get ugly with both Russo and Cornette on the same show.
That'd be ultra-giga-super dimes. But Cornette wouldn't agree to it unless he got a chance to murder Russo in public. We all want to see it, and Cornette knows we all want to see it. But he wants to murder Russo for real and has explained his murder fantasies several times on his podcast. Too much of a security risk even for slime like Pierce Morgan.
