Maybe they should have built it up and then people might have cared. I didn't even realize it happened until Alvarez and Meltzer talked about the finish. Why should we be hyped when they're not even trying to build hype?
 
What gets me about the Ospreay/MJF situation is that Meltzer, Alvarez, and the AEW loyalists were jerking themselves off about how amazing this match was. However, they shit all over the Sol Roucka match at Heatwave for being a gymnastic routine when it was the same damn thing as Ospreay/MJF. Hypocrites.

A better question is: they basically had an Ironman Match for free because MJF gave Garcia a boo-boo. Fine, sets Osprey up as the main face that doesn't take any heel's shit.

But how do they top this in a future match?

Might just be me, but I lose it every time I see Hulkster wearing his John 3:16 shirt.

Which is full circle, because Austin 3:16 came from Austin responding to Jake The Snake in a promo.
Jake referenced John 3:16 because it was one of his first born again after crack efforts.
So John 3:16 did directly affect the best selling t shirt of all time for WWE
