The more I stew on this, the more pissed off I'm getting about the fact that "Bloodline Rules" is not a lumberjack match and apparently means no DQ where the Bloodline doesn't show up for 20 minutes.

The Bloodline rules match somehow had less fuckery than a typical Bloodline match. I thought they would go all out or something.

Not trying to compare eras or specific superstars but I felt in similar ways about the main event result as to how I did as a kid watching the finish to wrestlemania 14. Not sure if I'll look back on it in the same way 25+ years from now but in the moment I felt like a kid again watching something worth being invested in.

They definitely booked the whole show with the feeling of ushering in a new era I wonder what it will be called in retrospect? The post vince era, the triple h era, the Renaissance era, time will tell

You guys think Vince watches and seethes?

E: I think the control freak in McMahon, who wants to micromanage the shit out of everything, is probably seething, yeah.

But the entertainer in Vince, the guy who pissed himself on live TV, gave shots to guys like Foley, Jericho, Eddie, Danielson, etc. is probably super happy with everything.

heel seth La knight maybe hell could be first feud for main event GUNTHER
Gunther would be fun, but I'm not sure he should go from losing a feud to losing a feud. Don't think losing would be good for Knight, either.

Finn or Dom would be fun feuds, although with Priest now champ, I doubt that'll be happening.

Lesnar is back on the superstars page. That could be fun, too. Rock is pissed so he goes for the nuclear option.

Punk would also be good, but he's likely to be tied up with Seth and Drew.

I was really hoping it was going to be like a Duchess of Queensbury match, or those McMahon/Austin era matches where they'd just hastily change shit on the fly. Cody gets dinged with a chair. Announcer: "This a reminder that this is a No DQ match." Etc.

I think the only thing that bugged me with Cody's match was the fact that there were folks going in and hitting shit on Roman. Having backup come in and deal with the Bloodline? Obvious but great choice, not sure how I feel about Cena hitting an FU on Roman, but it's such a minor detail.

It's also crazy that this all started with Cody smashing a mock Triple H set piece with a sledgehammer and it ended with Triple H more or less giving Cody his moment.

In the context of the match it happens right after solo lays into cody so it can kinda be seen as simply evening the odds again

I think I like the Undertaker spot. Yes it's hokey, yes it would have been more believable and on-topic to have Austin, but there's a certain poetry to it.

Taker had always been a hokey, cartoonish character who really banked on how fucking over he was to get away with straight up supernatural powers. So when you take the context of the whole 'Final Boss' gimmick coming in upside HHH's face to threaten the roster with turning the whole promotion heel again, the precedent of the Undertaker having the justification to flaunt the laws of wrestling reality is already there. Who could ever come in and instantly BTFO someone who can otherwise fire and/or beat up anyone in the company? The Deadman, of course. Even Stone Cold has medical bills, Undead Forehead Man doesn't care.

Tl;dr if you absolutely had to pick someone to fall out of the blue into this angle like this, Taker actually does make a little sense. It's the spirit of the Deadman coming back to defend pro wrestling from a hostile takeover. That sounds ridiculous on its face but its also the kind of thing that Taker has been very successful with in the past.

E: Actually, assuming Roman is on the shelf and Rock is off shooting a movie, who is Cody's first feud as champ?
With the draft happening in the near future, we may first have to see what brand Cody will be on. He may get a starter feud with Jimmy Uso or Solo Sikoa as the Bloodline phases out and another group like Legado or Imperium becomes takes its place.

Great WrestleMania, happy for Cody and surprised he got this far to be honest. I am a "the ring is sacred" faggot, if fucking Vince respected this then it's a shame HHH doesn't, at least make it look cool like in New Japan. As a football fan it's fucking disgusting to keep seeing that mental case ishowspeed latching onto everything, I sure hope that kick was stiff as fuck by Orton.

Regarding the Bucks, I doubt they will show the footage, it's going to be a BTE skit and it will kill their careers. Even if it's the actual footage what a dumb move, there's a reason these guys failed time and time again before the Bullet Club shirt sales saved them. If Khan is so butthurt he should just sue, I thought he had infinite money.

I'm sorry, what the fuck is up with the WWE kayfabe? There's Logan Paul "fighting" an established wrestler and IShowSpeed in a Prime bottle costume pulling Logan Paul out of the ring? Why are they pulling in YouTubers now? I thought it was always about well established people outside of the Internet world like Hulk Hogan or John Cena?
