even OG fans like myself are starting to lose interest.
I’ve all but given up tbh.
OG AEW Fan and this was probably the worst PPV they ever released.

AEW has really shit the bed since they bought ROH.
Same, OG here. To me it feels like it all started going downhill after Hangman won the belt.
In general AEW likes to draw things out way too long
They pretend it’s “Long Term Storytelling” when it’s actually “Drawn Out Storytelling.”
Him just being a face wasn't the problem
It definitely was a large part of it. The team up was a problem too. Everything up to that tag team up was pretty good.
Somehow worse than fagman page
Can’t believe I’m saying this but yeah I’d take Hangman as champion over that dogshit MJF run.
Omega doing the Belt Collector run was the best championship reign in AEW.
Nah, Moxley’s first run and even that 2022 interim stuff was better.
So far it’s:
1. Moxley
2. Jericho.
3. Omega.
4. Handwash.
5. M’jiff.
6. Punk.
Punk is objectively the worst since he was only champ for a week and then champ for a day.

So you think Roman being a champion for 3 years and rarely appearing on TV is a good thing? At least Brock felt special when he appeared. and did the same thing
Roman has more presence than brock ever did who just showed up to occasionally bury someone because he was a lazy asshole say whatever you want about bloodline interference at least it actually makes the competitor look like a credible threat to him bitch all you want None of the people Roman feuded with this year were LE HECKIN BURIEDERINO not brock not drew not Logan Paul not Sheamus not knight not Sami or KO not jey and certainly not Cody

I was fine with the Bloodline for a while, but after Year 2 of Roman’s Reign I checked out - I can assume a lot of other people did as well.

Long Title Reigns can work, it just requires the Champion actually shows up - not even working a match, just being on TV. The problem is, they’ve dragged this run on for so long that it’s going to be hard to give a shit about it when it’s over beyond “Oh Thank the fucking Lord”. Once we’re past it, and Roman hasn’t had the title for a while, it might be looked at differently, but watching it weekly I just want the reign to end.

Also whoever had the idea of Roman holding both belts - fuck you, it made RAW’s Main Event scene completely rudderless with no one having anything to fight over until the Consolation Big Gold Belt was introduced. It just soured me more on this entire run.

I checked out when he was getting beaten up by Sami Zayn. The "jester" in his "court". They wrote themselves into a corner.

On one side, you gotta pay off the storyline. On the other, your Champ that might be supposed to be the most dominant ever needs help to beat a guy who looks malnourished compared to Reigns former (and future) challengers.

The so called "Lesnar burial" is actually what's missing for me. If you're a dominant champion in a sport, some people just aren't on your level, you're gonna maul them. If the (ludicrous) idea is to have him beat Sammartino's record, then at least write the character as someone special enough to do so, and not as yet another chicken shit heel who needs help, yet somehow is a super badass at the same time?

Does any one care about any modern wrestling belt? They put them on people for years and half the time they don't turn up to the shows any way. The belts a prop but it's obvious when they're about to move it now because they over invest in holders. Belts should be moving every few weeks or at minimum have a realistic chance of moving. The reign of terror is becoming the norm now.
This is probably some of the whiniest drivel ever typed ITT. People care about belts because they are cool narrative props, and are often connected to webs of larger stories. It sounds like you just get worked a lot and are mad about the Coconut Nigger King.

I just KWAB'd myself on /pw/.

Why the fuck is a 8 man tag team match with Danielson, Claudio, Mark Briscoe and fucking Daniel Garcia vs Brody King, Jay White, Jay Lethal and Rush on the card?

Tony's just playing with his action figures, don't question it.

When did asking girls out became rape?

When it became financially viable for women to profit off rape and sexual assault allegations. If Jericho wants to get his cock wet with a girl I'd advise just sticking with his wife but if he must fuck rats or female wrestlers then at least make sure there are people around to corroborate that the flirting and shit was consensual and he'd also be wise to avoid situations where he's left alone with female fans, talent, etc; Mike Pence rule.

Fuck off Dwayne…FUCK OFF DWAYNE!!!
THIS IS CODY’S STORY NOT YOURS!!!!
I’m gonna laugh if they try and push back Cody Winning until Summerslam - something something “it’s where the reign started!” as the cope in that case.

The more realistic option - if they DO go for Rock v Roman, I’d assume that was one that was set in place before Vince sold, and they’re just getting it out of the way. Either way, I’m laughing if Cody gets fucked two years in a row - I feel bad for the guy, and still desperately want literally anyone to take the belt off Roman, but them wasting a Mania match and potentially the last chance for a monster pop on this fucking reign ending is hilarious.

Okay listen…Listen Codybros. I got it…I got it. We gotta calm down. Majorly calm down.
Dwayne vs Roman is at Elimination Chamber.
Roman beats The Rock and walks into Mania looking like the finalist boss that ever final bossed. Cody either wins The Rumble or The Chamber for the title shot.
They’re feeding Dwayne to Roman.

I will personally resurrect Benoit to wrestle Dwayne to prevent Mania being Roman vs Rock.
