Again, it's shit like this, that Tony needs to address swiftly and decisively. I know I'm hopeful, and I know Tony won't, but this does far more harm than good to the company as a whole.

Might be a blessing if it is addressed, because it's time that Jericho follows his 98 self, and steps aside for the younger generation to take TV time.
 
Just catching up with World's End.

Skipped the opening 8 man tag match bc I absolutely do not care.
Skipped through Andrade vs Miro. Crowd is completely dead and CJ turning on Andrade makes no sense.
Now skipping through Storm vs Riho and the crowd is even deader. Lol'd a lot when Schiavoni talked about the "great fan reaction" while you could hear a neddle drop.

Is the whole PPV going to be shit?

I genuinely love Riho matches usually because she plays the under-sized underdog so well but this match was obviously a foregone conclusion before the bell even rang so i just couldn't bring myself to give a shit about it.

The live crowd had the same reaction. Commentary mentioned the match in 2019 where Riho became the first AEW womens champion and all it did was remind me how red-hot they were that night for her vs. them not giving a shit about the same worker this time around because they knew she was going to job.
 
Skipped the Swerve match after I saw that Dustin Rhodes showed up. Absolute no reason to care about this match.

I thought they would just replace Kenny with Sammy but it got upgraded to another 8 man tag match. Skipped to the end and saw the faces win. Complete bullshit decision on every level.

And at this point I gave up an read the Bleacher Report recap.

Dogshit PPV. Only good thing is that Joe won but I'm sure they'll find a way to fuck up his run.

A while back, I said that for how dogshit Dynamite could be week to week, at least AEW managed to deliver on their PPV's.

If they can't even deliver on these anymore, I think it's time to start the Buyout Countdown. I stand by saying AEW will likely limp along to keep Tony away from the actually profitable family businesses, but I think Tony OD'ing would be an improvement as far as the booking...

That or give Noir the book. I'd love to see wrestling as booked by a schizo, if only because it'd be a complete fucking car crash.

Rumor floating around is that Ospreay was promised the main event at Wembley in 2024 and the title then, so Joe's probably got until the fall to hold the belt. Ironically, best usage of Joe at this point is to turn him babyface (have him repudiate Cole for using him) and put him against Swerve for a bit to test Swerve out as a top heel. Either that or do Joe vs Wardlow and put the belt on Wardlow and then do a slow burn for Wardlow turning on Cole once he realizes he has slipped from one hell to another in terms of Cole being just as bad as MJF was abusing/manipulating him.

I know Jericho needs to wrap it up but this is Chris fuckin Jericho we’re talking about. He’s a legend and I sincerely hope this isn’t how his career ends.

He needs to get the hell out of AEW and go back to the fed. Put some guys over, maybe have a couple wins on b tier papes, have a US title run or something and then replace that Irish idiot on commentary. H is his friend, he might bail him out.

My solution is for Chris to punch Action Andretti in the face and menace Tony a bit to make him fear for his life again. Get fired and show up at Backlash or Raw after mania.
Soon it’ll be only Moxley left as an AEW OG and then he’ll leave too.

All I'm saying is if it's true and any of this is real then the dude who broke it was a real cunt for holding it back until he decided to be vindictive. Jericho should just quit while he was ahead and stayed with his shitty band. By now he would have been in the hall of fame and had a decent last match with either Owens or Cody.
