I was wondering what the hell happened to Simon Miller after WCPW fell off and now I wish I didn't. I guess he's really desperate for Tony Kahn to confuse him for Ryback and give him a contract.

Seriously, the point of this absolute cope of a video is that AEW arenas aren't really empty because no one goes to see the shows. It's because people just can't afford it. So technically the arenas aren't empty at all. Theoretically AEW would make loads of ticket sales if wasn't for covid, the economy, and heckin gross E-Drones spreading FALSE INFORMATION about the arenas being empty.

My fear is they will dump this demented triple crown bullshit on Swerve, rather than have him go for the title. As for the Cody not getting his dues, get real. The guy will win the belt, just a matter of when, not if at this stage.
I doubt that because then he'd have to defend the new title over on NJPW, which is something Bryan would rather do. Swerve is also black. NJPW may have a thing in California now, but they're still Japanese.

I've been told Rick's segment on Fridays rampage is super cringe. Glad I got better things to do then watch some way over the hill wrestler try and get another 15 mins of fame.

AEW ticket prices are generally dropped the closer it gets to the day of the event and they'll often do BOGO to fill the arena up.

They are struggling with attendance because they keep going back to the same places.

Ngl I felt so uncomfortable seeing the backstage skit with Schiavone, Sting and Flair. Like you go to a party, meet your friends there and some new people, you introduce yourself to people, grab your first beer, start some smalltalk, everyone is chill and suddendly this one guy who is already completely shitfaced shows up, who can barely stand anymore and who only speaks IN LOUD NOISES AND YEAH AND WOOOOOOOOH and he sees you and comes over and lays his arm around your shoulders, HEY BUDDY GREAT PAR- and then he nearly falls on his face but you are polite and catch him so he doesn't fall and while you help him up his face comes close, too close, and you see him already drooling and he smells like cheap whiskey and then he starts making noises like he is going to puke on you and he burps and gargles and you just wish him to go away. That was Flair. Not cool.

They're struggling with attendance because no one cares about AEW anymore

Does anyone but me remember Santana and Ortiz were supposed to have the blowout to their non-feud like... two months ago?

Tony didn't.

Does anyone but me remember the arena match in Wembley where, I think, Eddie and Claudio brawled backstage in a bar area and a black guy showed up and got thrown across the bar and who got singed like two weeks later?

Tony doesn't.

And to be fair I don't even remember that guy's name.

It also does

It also doesn't help that even if you cared enough to buy tickets, you have no idea what the card would be when you get there. They had Punk advertised for months in advance until he face locked a jobber. Then there's the abundant injuries and questionable attendance. You're basically buying a raffle ticket.

There are like two or three that they can sell out for but for the most part they stuck with what WWE was doing between 2015-2017 where some arena's had to have the crowd repositioned so one side could be full. While yes, buying tickets is a pretty huge expense when inflation is still a thing for some, it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't come to your city every six weeks. It also doesn't help you never know in advance who'll be on the show and getting tickets once they do release the information when all that's left is either hardcam or the nose bleeds is rather pointless.

They "did" but it wasn't anything major as it was on Rampage. Probably because they can't have a real match between each other without it turning real.
It was a rather weak No DQ match on October 27th.

Edge in AEW has kind of gone over like a lead balloon and for once I’m not just going LOLAEW, I genuinely don’t get why. I guess for me it’s that I like Edge, I like Christian, but I’ve also seen them feud when they were younger, more agile, less broken down, and in front of hotter crowds. I guarantee interest for Edge will go back up once he’s done with Christian and the “dream match” run starts.

Also the fucking name. I get that he’s gone into acting and probably wants to use his real name but I’d have rather them do the old TNA meme thing and called him “End” or something. It just feels weird to call a guy “Adam” after he was Edge for years.

He also seems kind of bored. Now more than ever does this just seem like a guy who wants to collect a paycheck to play with his friends, does he give a fuck about AEW at all? I feel like Chris and Moxley do, but not so much Edge, he’s just there to be there.

Christian was already killing it in AEW so Edge showing up didn't do much for the fans because they don't need to see the obvious angle again.

I guess I wish they’d waited for it instead of just jumping right into it, but then again I’m someone who thinks E and C have done their best work apart so I’m not really interested in a reunion either, and I damn sure don’t need to see them vs the corpses of Matt and Jeff.

Honest question: Who would have to be under MJF's devil mask for it not being a complete stinker when the devil gets unmasked?
tony khan

Ric Flair life is fucking tragic and its sad as fuck that he became a mockery of himself instead of turning into an elder stateman like Harley or Bruno did. He shouldnt have been brought back.

Maybe Andrade? It would certain shut him up at the very least. Though I'd love for it to be someone like Hammerstone but he's still under contract with MLW because they refuse to let him leave. Personal favourite would be Krule, but that's beyond his style of character.
Didn't they do it on Rampage?
Yes, last month. It wasn't good.

I doubt that match will be a real match. It'll probably be no content.
That being said. I do agree their best stuff in the ring was apart but outside of the ring they're great together like backstage segments and shows the network had.
