I think he felt obligated to try to keep ROH around because he made such a big deal about buying them when WWE was sniffing around to try to scoop up the tape library. Where he fucked up was not being a bit more ruthless, should've just killed ROH, kept a few talents around and saved the tape library for a future streaming deal. Trying to integrate a dead promotion just doesn't work, like we can see that in WWE's failed attempt at keeping WCW alive shortly after Vince bought them, but to Vince's credit he was smart enough to stop when he saw it wasn't working.

Also helps with the wrestler too, some dudes just make moves look better because they got so good at doing them like Kane and Taker with the Tombstone Piledriver.

His career is kind of fucked at this point:

1. Even though Hunter has stated he gave Cole permission to bail to AEW, Hunter is one of the most vindictive fuckers in wrestling and probably pissed the fuck off that Cole didn't eat shit like LA Knight did for a couple of months until Hunter could stage his coup and get rid of Vince. So no big push if he comes back.

2. He built his entire career off of the Undisputed Era stable gimmick and it's now gone to pieces. Fish is persona non grata, O'Reilly's a cripple, and Roderick Strong is basically Lorna Dane, who bad things keep happening to. And the Elite only hired them to beat them, so Cole has to pal around as MJF's second banana because.....

3. Tony's going all in on MJF and best Adam can hope for is to be his Gilligan because the opposite is being MJF's Jerry Lynn type bet jobber or just another lost soul in Tony's overfilled toy chest.

Brock only works if you point blank tell Brock "Nakamura is going to one punch knock you out, fuck your feelings and ego; Nakamura has earned this big moment since your a fucking bore...."

Nakamura one punch slaying Brock (and Brock being kicked to the curb afterwards) would actually get people fucking talking and make Nakamura relevant far more than a million five star snowflake matches AND ensure Brock finally pays proper penance for his burial of Cody after WM (which he could have fucking refused to do when Vince ordered him to do it).

Come on, now. Cody is in fact a Vince project. That's why Tripple H hates Cody and wanted him to get burried in WWE. He also needed Cody to leave AEW bc obviously AEW was on the brink of winning the ratings war and if Tripple H would have lost the ratings war Vince would probably have raped Tripple H. Or beaten up, idk. That's why Tripple H installed the Bucks in AEW. They are his sleeper agents there. They used their position as EVPs and let Randy Rhodes (Cody's wife is in fact a man) do stupid shit so the fans started to hate him which forced Cody to jump ship bc he didn't want to risk his marriage. Same with Jay Cargill (it's a dude too). The Bucks booked Jay Cargill strong and made his huge winning streak possible which ultimatively destroyed AEW women's division. The Bucks are also the ones who manipulated Danhausen into selling bootleg merch bc they knew it would hurt AEW's reputation and what do you think where Tony gets his "creative powder" from? Yeah, it's the Bucks. CM Punk? An inside job. Tripple H made the Bucks bully Punk until he had no other option than to meltdown and try to kill Tony Khan by throwing a TV at him so he would get fired and can go back to WWE at Survivor Series. In fact Cody getting burried was a message sent to Punk to behave and better not do shit or he will get killed by Brock which they will make look like an accident. Also Brock is Tripple H bodyguard so Randy and Jay can't rape Tripple H. The whole story started on a Raw show 21 years ago in Milwaukee where the Bucks were backstage at Raw and saw Tripple H holding hands with Stephanie which they used to blackmail Tripple H. Vince is the victim here.
