Apparently Ronda was at Collision/ Ramage to work a ROH match since she had her ring gear. She teamed up with Marina Shafir to face off against the Fat Fuck and Billie Starkz. The first match those four had was No Contest over at Revolver.

Guess she's not the signee if they completely gave it away on Friday.

I'd say so. Those are two of the most remembered stunts of their respective decades in WWE that even people with no interest in wrestling can recall. I do wonder what is the equivalent in the 2000's.

Makes sense. Paige is damn good-looking and exudes naughtiness in her "normal" pics. And no one would be hard-pressed to remember a single fight of hers. Even Ronda Rousey had memorable fights but not PVZ. I could be wrong since I haven't followed MMA since the downturn of Anderson Silva's career.

I don't particularly like Rousey but she is undeniably a huge name with massive crossover appeal who has decided to work with AEW instead of WWE.

TK should be making a huge deal of this even if she is only doing a few appearances for him. Sticking her on his second brand that no one cares about is fucking stupid.

Watch as the "huge signing" he has been building up for the PPV is underwhelming as fuck by comparison.

I used to love AEW when it started right on through to the pandemic shows but it has obviously turned into one man's vision and that man is a stubborn fool who doesn't understand anymore what actually matters to his audience.

Yeah, I figured as much. Wasn't even that good of a show for a go home show. PPV also looks terrible just the way the crowd is situated.

Ronda isn't signed yet, her match was only to garner some HonorClub subscription buys. Stupid reason to bring her in. She maybe at the PPV in December though.

Some Reddit person has a theory that this is all a plan by Jay to win the belt.

Jay convinces Cole to befriend MJF to the point where they are tag champs and MJF gets dinged up defending those tag belts so an "injured" Cole has to step up for his buddy and defend the main belt but it ends with a finger poke of doom and Jay is the new champ.

It would be a terrible angle because it makes everyone involved look weak but I can see TK doing it because it feels like something that would have happened during the attitude era
