I was thinking about it what I'm going to say while Dynamite still runs in the background AND IT IS THE SECOND SQUASH MATCH OF THE SHOW RUNNING! It is a fucking go home show and they do squash matches with jobbers. Becaue a guy like Samoa Joe totally needs to squash a jobber within a minute so he can cut a one minute long promo.

Russo is redeemed. Fuck AEW.

Edit: Jericho shows up to a "street fight" match fully suited and with a tie.

Dolph's contract was up, when that happens there's no NCC. He was also seen on Being the Elite numerous times and nothing happened before.

That being said, tonight's Dynamite was terrible. Chris needs to stop wrestling he's getting more and more sloppy with every match. Opening OC match could have been good but fuck tag rules. I guess the BCC aren't teaching those to Yuta. Couldn't care less about the Young Bucks match because while they'll use the tag ropes the Mexican wont or even bother to tag, so why bother watching it? He can get the fuck off my screen. Komander though is being used by the company as a whipping boy. I feel almost sorry for him, but he's a luchador who's not the Trash Brothers or related to Rush. He's going to get jobbed out. Another match with Red Velvet was predicable. I can't stand watching her wrestle. Just have her come out and immediately reward the win to her opponent. It's really no different than the match itself and would last just as long. Couldn't be bothered with the Gunns match. Samoa Joe has already become samey.

For a go home show, this was terrible. I guess they're loading everything up for Friday.
 
The new signing can't be Dolph cus non-compete, it can't be Ospreay because his NJPW contract doesn't expire until next year, probably around February and Tony KWAB would open himself up to a lawsuit and be made to look like more of a hypocrite. It's 95% Sasha.
That said, who gives a fuck. AEW is dead and no new signing is going to save it. Take the book from Tony and hire someone who knows what they're doing.

I don't think it's dead as such. Their growth has stalled entirely however and it'll be hard to pick up momentum again without major changes to a lot of the booking.

They'll start bleeding talent that is able to get themselves over because WWE have already shown they are willing to sign people based off their success in AEW.

AEW did huge favours for Cody and Jades reputation and they took the ball and ran with it and signed huge deals with WWE. That's just going to keep happening if people don't think they can become megastars if they stay in AEW. Even a mid card fued on Raw or Smackdown regularly has more eyes on it than anything AEW puts on TV.

Buddy, NXT does more than 2 of AEW's 3 shows combined. It's completely different levels. No one in AEW is being made a star because no one watches it and Tony doesn't know what he's doing. The only person that maybe had potential there was MJF and he's been completely exposed as a shitter. It's done. If they get renewed, and I would be shocked if they do even with Tony outright saying he would take a cut in their rights fees to stay with WBD because no one else is calling, it won't matter.

Call me optimistic, but for me I'm hoping AEW gets to repeat of WCW's biggest screw ups of early-1999

Wardlow, MJF, Kyle Fletcher, Takeshita, they might take another look at Toni Storm, Shida, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Willow.

There's probably more I'm forgetting but there are a lot of young workers over there that have a strong hint of "it" off of them that could be honed to solid WWE talents in the PC/NXT and a few that could make it big.

Well until Cody didn't win at Wrestlemania which people expected and Jade saying she didn't have to wrestle because her checks already getting sent.
RAW is bleeding views right now and if they're not careful they'll eventually see 1.1m views. Smackdown though continues to do well, despite Fox's claims. Fox was expecting 2001 numbers.

Brian Cage and his wife had a baby. I'm amazed she was able to pop one out Given how much Brian Cage HGH takes. You'd think it would his sperm.
