Collision did horrible numbers again. Pretty much the same as Rampage.

I reckon it's just fucked now. AEW expanded too quickly and it has made everything outside of Dynamite and the PPVs not worth the effort of watching.

WBD share some of the blame for this. 5 hours of wrestling a week is too much for anyone to keep up with.

Apparently Dave Oliver has been working with AEW for awhile, as is his son.

It did better than last weeks episode but 30k more views really isn't much. They need to be at a consistent high 400k to low 500k at their timeslot to be viable. I would personally shift it to 4pm on a Saturday so it's on before a WWE PPV.. Maybe a 8pm slot.

I mean, I watch everything I can but I'll only watch key segments for WWE stuff, Rampage if I read that they have a good match, NJPW and DDT stuff. Deadlock when I can because they've gotten really good. GCW if I hear they have someone I want to watch and isn't a stupid deathmatch. MLW for some matches. Sometimes I'll catch some AAA stuff and I've been wanting to watch some CMLL shows. AJPW is difficult to catch up on at times but I will if I can. Same goes with Stardom and Revolver shows. I'll even watch some Texas shows to see if they've gotten any better. Hell, I even watched the Nightmare Factory matches when they were showing off their "talent" from a few years back.

Usually I'll have wrestling on my third monitor while I work if there's just nothing else to watch on Youtube or something. I need something on to fill the six hours of dead air. There's maybe like 5% of wrestling fans out there that do something similar. The rest of the 95% pick a brand and stick with it.

Wrestling shows when they get streamed should be bookmarked so people know when there's a match, backstage segment, promo, vignette, important/major/huge announcement so viewers can watch the stuff that's most important to them during that show. Maybe then the near 100 hours of wrestling that's on every week from all promotions would be bearable. It's gotten as bad as the comic industry having 70 to 100 comics released every week and think flooding the market will get them good sales, and that's before you get into variant covers and TPB's.

The chief reason for Punk coming back would be to have him one hit beat Seth Rollins (shipping him off to Smackdown in the process) and then trashing the AEW belt he's been carrying around and shit talking Roman and declaring the Raw participation belt the only one that matters, insert shoot comment that Roman only keeps the belt because he keeps lying that he can get Rock back full time.

Putting the belt on CM Punk would make the Raw belt actually mean something, especially if you go the angle of allowing Punk to shit talk Roman and when Roman finally does come back, find out he's curtain jerking the opening match of the Royal Rumble, denied a dressing room, being forced out the arena at gunpoint by security afterwards, and generally speaking being treated like dogshit along with Heyman, who gets banned from Raw because Punk doesn't want to deal with his parasitic bullshit.

Make Punk a tweener who's egomaniacle but meaning well and just have him troll Roman until Mania and beat him/unify all the belts THEN do a fuck-up finish with Cody which ends with Cody getting one belt and Punk the other. Cody gets Smackdown, Punk Raw, and you toss the Usos and Solo into a garbage truck with Roman and we never see them again.
This is so crazy, I actually love it.

I'm realizing Deadlock is the only wrestling podcast worth keeping up with. Corny has gotten tired, Brian Last is unbearable, Dirty Dutch never has a clue what's going on, and all the Conrad pods are just abysmal.

synchtubes are good for that, you can queue up a playlist of lots of cams from mexican indies or whatever your jam that's compatible with your particular tube

Reddit seems to think it's someone who is working there already but not on a full time deal like Vikingo or Chris Hero.

The other options are Sasha or Ospreay.

Also, the guy in the devil mask and his goons are being played by the people who are actually finally going to be eventually unmasked so Dolph might already be on AEW TV despite his non-compete with WWE not running out until December.

Haven't watched AEW since MJF won against Juice but thought I tune in tonight bc go home Dynamite before the PPV and I got rewarded with one of the worst hours of wrestling show I have ever seen. I'm not overexaggerating for shits and giggles or so. It's complete rotten. Nothing makes sense and the wrestling is dogshit. Bravo. Now I don't even want to pirate Full Gear.

Candidates for being the Devil:
  • MJF and his Brother
  • AJ Styles (To reign in a new company)
  • New Japan Bullet Club Member
  • Gobbledy Gooker
  • CM Punk because he's a antisemitic bastard
  • Gangrel (Brood Reunion)
  • John Xina
a more rational promotion would use this as an opportunity to put over a new talent, but AEW has a few dozen of them doing fuckall already, so it'll clearly be a fossil
Mayor Glenn soaking Tony Khan for a bunch of money to get more ambulances in Knox County could be kinda fun
