You can't trust Atom Smol to hold any belts tbh, not with his injury track record. I can't imagine anything worse for the world title legitimacy than putting it on a skinny geek like him either. MJF has been bad enough

VoW is garbage with shit takes, but I unironically agree with this burial of current day AEW. Everything that made AEW unique and interesting is gone and all that is left is E-lite. On top of what he says I want to point out that they really need to bring back the stage and set design. The tunnels especially gave AEW a unique feel that was different than the copypasted WWE style presentation most western promotions try to mimic poorly.

Aew isn't going to last long. It took wwf around 9 years before hitting the new generation era lows. If aew officially hits the "pg era" where blood and cussing is allowed they are doomed.
It's been said before, but it bears repeating. AEW isn;t going anywhere unless Papa Kahn pulls the plug. Even though Tony is has less dignity than Dixie Carter, he has a supply of money and an audience that (given we are in the twilight years of cable) makes it a show worth keeping on TV.

Maybe if he put the weight belt on and built some mass he wouldn't be crumbling like an orphan boy made out of matchsticks in a rock throwing contest.

Apparently aew knew danielson was injured during his match with Andrade.
Danielson is a nut that makes TNA era Perc Angle look sane by comparison and he doesn't have pills as an excuse. He needs a Vince or HHH level hardass to keep him in check, and clearly Jacksonville Dixie and Doc Sampson aren't up to the task.

and she gets genuinely pissy if the audience boos her, which the AEW audience will.
Well now I want her to get signed. One of the few joys I got out of her WWE run was the look of genuine hurt and confusion on her face when the WWE audience would boo her. She's so arrogant, yet so fragile.

Let’s see how they manage to book Archer losing to Darby tomorrow. So sick of this shit.
I'm hoping against all hope that they won't job out Archer to Allen, but you're right. It's honestly bad enough that has to even sell for Darby. In fact, one of the things that annoys me the most about AEW is how they have big guys sell for these scrawny fuckers as though they're on the same level physically. It's like they're rubbing in my face that the fake fighting I'm watching is fake, as I'm watching it. Which I hate.

And it's not like you can't have relatively scrawny guys look good and not ridiculous up against bigger guys. Zac Sabre Jr is great at that, because he goes at it with a completely different approach, where he manipulates the other guys' joints and uses their momentum against them.

But mainly, they need to stop delegitimizing Archer with this bullshit.

I love Roman and I acknowledge my Tribal Chief every day but I still kinda want LA Knight to win tomorrow. That dude is a star.
Eli Drake is great!

I'm glad his young child is guilting him into retiring because he's one of those dummies that thinks letting himself get legitimately torn apart in the ring gives him more cred. I understand young men who aren't settled down following that philosophy (though younger Will Osprey often made me cringe with the shit he'd pull), but if you've got a family and kids, then you have no business actively sabotaging your physical health like that. Especially nowadays when nobody still thinks the shit is real.

On this day in history Kurt Angel punked out the entering class of Though Enough. Including Ryback, the Miz and Daniel Puder.

This was the same night the Puder incident

Bob Holly's take on this.
Instead of properly using the existing workforce, WWE tried to create new stars with another season of Tough Enough. MTV wasn’t interested anymore, so WWE did it as a weekly segment on Smackdown. It was horrible. The whole concept just didn’t work. A guy named Daniel Puder won and he got immediate heat in the locker room because of something he did with Kurt Angle. In one of the segments, the contestants were going to shoot fight with Kurt. Only it wasn’t a shoot. They’d been told backstage it was going to be worked but presented as a shoot. Kurt ended up wrestling with Puder and was taking it easy, leaving himself exposed because he thought they were just working. Puder grabbed him in an armbar because Kurt basically let him have his arm. It looked like Puder had Kurt in trouble, and Kurt took offense to this. If it’d been a real fight, Kurt would have stretched his ass in a heartbeat. All of a sudden, Puder was going around, bragging on the internet that he could beat Kurt Angle in a fight. All of the boys took offense.
Kurt on the incident.

Shit post from Wrestle Ops, Ric wants to do a promo battle of sorts with MJF.

Lance has won 65% of his 20 matches so far, losing to Darby while stupid make's sense in terms of just probability. Darby is supposed to be hurt, it's why he was destroyed in his last two matches so of course he'll win against Lance. Least the Steve and Brick Savage three way last month was good.
