It just proves that few talents can be debuted cold on the main roster. Something like the Vaudvillains need vingettes and hype. They need build for the gimmick to work.
Well, since the finals will take place at Payback, next week's RAW could have promo segment with the two teams and give the Vaudvillains a chance to speak.

Previously I mentioned All Japan wrestler Joe Doering suffering from brain cancer. He's had surgery to remove the tumor and now faces weeks, possibly months of chemo.

He has a gofundme set up to help cover the medical costs. Normally I think wrestlers running go fund me's is a bit shady. But this is definitely a good cause.

Roman Reigns is quickly becoming the heel we all would like him to be. He comes out, doesn't give a shit and says stuff that will almost certainly get him booed. Even with Gallows and co attacking him from behind the crowd (Which was mostly dead) literally burst into cheers. If Reigns carries on down this path, I can see money in fans paying to see him get beaten.

The Miz continues to be one of the top heels in the company and him fighting Cesaro at Payback will be my personal main event, because the Miz is the heel you want to see get beaten up and Cesaro is the face you want to see beat him up. THIS is what you call using your talent effectively.

Sadly "have heels the crowd want to see get beaten by the faces" is a radical concept in WWE.

He was basically a more dangerous Shawn Michaels without the political capital

I remember he got fired from WCW for running around a hotel butt naked smashing stuff while high on PCP. He also got his ass beat by Konnan in TNA because Sean Waltman shit in his bag and Juvi thought it was Konnan. He injured Jerry Lynn (one of my all time favorite wrestlers who never really got a chance in the majors) because he didn't take care of him during a Juvi Driver.

They are more consumable on television than live because of the graphics and such. A brand new Vaudvillains to a Brit audience that probably has been much more lightly penetrated by the WWE Network (and hence NXT) probably don't know about who and what they are. They remind me of the old tag teams from the 80s. Back then most of the tag teams you couldn't ever see being separated because they were so tied together in their gimmick.

Anyone want to place bets that Sean Waltman is a hot mess at the funeral?

So the "everything comes in threes" came true with deceased wrestlers. First Blackjack Mulligan, then Balls Mahoney, and now Chyna :(

With wrestlers it's more like dozens.

He won't be there. From shoot interviews there is a deep seeded hatred.
