I know it's been topped in the modern era, but the Undertaker's entrance at Mania XIV with the druids holding torches like swords at a military wedding blew me away back then, and still holds a special place in my heart.

My favorite Undertaker entrance is the one that WWE wants me to forget, that being his entrance to "Ain't No Grave" by Johnny Cash.
The audience doesn't take to it right away, no doubt confused by the sudden change from his iconic funeral march theme, but their silence actually added to it for me. Johnny's singing and right as the song gets to the lyric, "when you hear that trumpet sound, I'm gonna rise right outta the ground," Undertaker walks out and gets a pop. I know it probably wasn't intentional, but always get a chill rewatching it.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it just means sponsored matches being picked by WWE instead of ESPN or whoever else. Previously sponsors were decided by Peacock and on Raw they're decided by Netflix. The words "ad slots" don't necessarily mean commercial breaks. It could be the LED ring apron showing an ad or Michael Cole doing a quick shout out. I hope I'm right at least.
 
Ooof. Big news regarding Jonathan Gresham.

Two days ago, I woke up and couldn’t walk or move the left side of my body. I couldn’t see and could barely talk. It took me 30 minutes to dial 911, but I finally did. I woke up in the hospital, couldn’t remember what had happened. They told me they had done an MRI and I had two strokes.
I’ve had a lot of tests run but everything has come back clean. They’re not sure what happened, and the only thing they said was it could have been a possible complication from a bad case of COVID I had a couple of weeks ago. They said we may never know the exact reason. Needless to say, I will be taking the next 2-4 weeks off from wrestling to recover and get cleared fully by my neurologist.
My wife saw me get carted off from the house on our Ring doorbell camera and somehow flew from Orlando to Atlanta in time that she was there when I woke up. I wasn’t fully convinced I had a stroke until she showed me this photo of how my face looked. I never thought this would be something for me to worry about at 37 years old.

I'm struggling to find pictures of Gresham at ROH in 2016. I believe that was the first time I had seen him. Anyways: Get off the juice, big man. This is exactly one of the risks from it.

hopefully thats the case, I don't have the massive hate-boner for Nick Khan that a lot of the IWC does but even the most "what about the investors!"-brained CEO should have had to been aware they were going to take a PR hit from accepting ESPN's offer and ad-breaks during matches would only piss off Normalfags further, an auidence that they certainly do need, id hate for them to just drop the product after the last 2 years have been relatively good creatively, its not us Hardcores who are aware for VPNs who would be affected by any of this, but tossing out an ad for the newest Slop during the main event of WrestleMania is not going to pass, sure a throwaway match on RAW is fine with most because most watch the weekly TV for the segments and build-up anyway but PPVs would be a terrible idea

I always liked him, I think he was one of those guys they pulled the trigger on far too early, his WHC reign was not memorable in the slightest after cashing-in on Jericho after WM26 had they waited a year or two he probably would have been a major star, maybe not Roman or Cody level now but certainly at least an Main Event orbiter in the way Sami or Mcintyre are now, I loved his Conservative Gimmick with Zeb Coulter and it was probably one of the few times I was Sports Entertained at a time when the product was starting to go to absolute shit, hopefully he's good whatever hes doing now

Two strokes at 37? Hate to be a Debbie Downer but the chances of him going back to wrestling would be none at all except do commentary when he recovers.

If there is a reason on why Brock came back like that it would very likely means that the thing is very close to be settled out of court and Brock very likely came off clean from this. Is he actually wrong though? Because from what we now know about the case, Brock took very little part of it, like someone else said in here, is morally dubious, but nothing illegal. And Joey Ryan deserves every inch of mockery that he gets for actually being a pervert, as far as I know, Brock Lesnar didn't used a sexual deviant gimmick as an excuse to touch women's tits or to make them grab his dick.

Also, easy with the double posting. The mods in here do not like that.
