This is honestly pretty funny. She has more money than sense and just seems to be touring the world doing whatever because TK is such a soft touch when it comes to his bigger stars so she can just go do indies for silly money outside of AEW.

Selling her ring gear for suitcase space is extremely on brand for her. I don't think she has ever worn the same thing twice in a row so getting paid by some goon so that she can bring home new clothes is a smart move.

Some guy on Reddit pointed out that she's wrestling a show in some random tiny hotel in the middle of nowhere in Poland but I guarantee you it's because there's something else in the area that she wants to see/do and she's just getting the promoter to pay for it by wrestling a 5 minute match (where she goes over) for his podunk company.
 
El Grande Americano is singing a full on song on the AAA show and the crowd is singing with him and they’re showing signs and shirts and now commentary is cheering for him. You know, the gimmick Americans claimed very loudly that Mexicans would be offended by.

Anyway, I was sitting next to a black guy and he was chanting "Thank You Hogan" throughout the tribute.

Tons of wrestlers have done similar. IIRC, Foley wrote about doing something similar in his book.

Poland promoter probably gets a bit of a bump in ticket sales, Mercedes gets to go revel in Eastern European despair and ennui. Win/win.
 
Alberto Del Rio has lost the match and now has to leave AAA. He lost to a powder spot that they did not catch on camera and then the ref counted three super fast and we didn’t see a single one of the counts.

Honestly not surprised that Del Rio is gone. It felt inevitable given his bad relationship with WWE. Even less surprising is AAA having god awful production and missing the important moments. They even uploaded the finish and didn't bother fixing it.
As for the four way, that should be a great match. I'll be sure to watch.

The temerity of this retard. Dave can't write for shit and he constantly gets stories wrong. He's lucky nobody cared about covering wrestling, and plenty of people nowadays do a much better job than he does. Had he pursued sports or politics, he wouldn't have lasted long in any serious journalistic environment back then and been forced to find another career.
