Turns out that Jimmy Jacobs was more of a PA and note-taker for TK so AEW creative probably isn't going to change all that much. In fact, it might go further off the rails if Tony doesn't have someone to keep track of his ADHD spergery day-to-day.

It was pretty obvious though. Now we get some weirdly booked AEWavengers build up with it culminating by Mox dropping the belt to Darby Allen at Double or Nothing.
Or the Elite will insert themselves and take it.

I regret missing the Danielson "retirement" but at the same time, since he did it at AEW, I couldn't help but feel that they would've dropped the ball anyway and they did lol.

Apparently their hand was forced to a degree because Danielsons injuries were starting to get the best of him and he felt like he wasn't up to an extended run as champ.

The plan was always for Mox to take the belt off him and they wanted to build the story a bit more over the next few months but Bryan didn't want to keep wrestling if he was being carried most of the time.

I cant help but look at it and compare it to how Sting's retirement was handled. Sting's wasn't perfect; I feel as if it should've been a squash match and no glass spot, but he went over and it was pretty tasteful overall.

I understand Danielson's reasoning, but I also cant help but feel that he should've just forfeited the title on the following Dynamite or whatever and went as an undefeated champ. Even a tasteful loss akin to Flair vs Michaels would've been welcome.

Very shitty from the "journalists" at last nights post-PPV media scrum when it came to how they treated Mariah May. She was brought on stage and only one guy bothered to ask her a question.

She got visibly annoyed and Schiavone and Mc Guiness pretty much covered for her while she just got up and left after a couple of minutes. Granted, her title reign so far has been fairly meh but surely some dipshit bloggers could have thrown a few boilerplate standard questions at her. The same cunts complain about the women on AEW being an afterthought but also show zero interest in what they are doing.

hardly suprising, most AEWfags are Smarks who only care about workrate, and le good matches, Women's Wrestling (and Women in general) areally aren't their style

Miz will retire with an all time hof garunteed career get to enjoy retirement with his wife and kids without being crippled he won
He really did, he didn't have the most flashy in-ring style but he worked smarter, hes like the only wrestler I legitimately cannot recall a time where he was injured

I can, off the top of my head, only think of 2 Miz Injuries - his Mania match against Cena where he was concussed after his head bounced off the concrete going over the barricade, and that retarded Zombie Movie tie-in match where he tore his ACL.

Like him or hate him, Miz is one of the bigger success stories of the WWE Style of Wrestling. For the sheer amount of matches he does in a year, his bump card is still mostly blank - guy’ll be able to actually enjoy his retirement, barring catastrophic injury/him not going broke.

Never been a fan of the Miz but the dude looks tremendous for his age.

yeah he is absolutely the poster boy for "work smarter not harder"
and ironically/appropriately enough he's not too bad as a worker, either
