So the dirt sheets are kicking around that QT's leaving is tied to him feeling that the company is headed towards a more NJPW style format with matches over storylines and that he wants to be a big time star which imo isn't going to happen anywhere.

Erm, what the fuck bros? Why didn't Punk cut a heckin epic worked shoot where he trashes the pissant indie that's trying and failing to compete with WWE? Why wasn't he immediately hot shotted into a title feud with Seth or Roman? Why did almost every match and segment further an ongoing story or develop a new one? Tony wouldn't have done that.........I'm just so confused........
I wasn't expecting a worked shoot. I just wanted to see something that felt significant. Waiting 3 hours just for him to tell the audience that he's happy to be there wasn't worth it.

Unless I hear something big is happening, I don't make time for wrestling anymore. That segment did nothing to make me want to reinvest myself.

Maybe this is supposed to be a diplomatic way to say "there is no booking" or something

QT jumping off a sinking ship is what's happening
Daddy Khan telling Tony his allowance isn't endless, so Tony is having to make some decisions about which dead weight to cut loose so he can keep buying mountains of cocaine and sign guys like Ospreay to multi-million dollar contracts, flailing about trying to inject some energy. The energy from all that blow isn't translating to the product

Dude looks HUUUUUGE. Like, holy SHIT, man looks like he ate Randy and absorbed his traits. Still can go, it seems, can't wait to see what's next for him.
It’s like he’s the Perfect Cell version of Randy Orton.

What’s sad is that people are actually saying shit like this.
People’s attention spans are so short nowadays that it’s almost completely destroyed Storytelling.
Try showing The Good, The Bad and The Ugly to a Zoomer that wasn’t raised by conservative parents who like Westerns…They can barely get through the first hour and give up before the second hour.
Is this really what AEW fans look like?????
Some of them. Others look like the meme that AEW fans are big fat slobs. The dude who works at the GameStop in my local mall is a dub mark and he’s as wide as he is tall, and has glasses.

I love how years ago whenever we shit on QT Marshall for being a completely insufferable bore who kept hijacking time on Dynamite at the expense of actual talent, we were told that he's actually an important part of the product as he's a key trainer and highly respected throughout AEW. This retard was getting segment after segment while AEW was on fire and did all he could to turn viewers away from the product.

And now he's just gone and that's that, AEW fans don't really give a shit.

Maybe it WAS bad booking after all chums.

The Creeds are fucking hoopers, their promos are absolute dogwater but I haven't seen them have a single bad match in their entire run. Can be a great workrate tag team to fill out the middle of the division, give 'em a run here or there.
They could use a good manager to cut promos, which they had in Stokey Hathaway (fka Malcolm Bivens) before he was released. Meanwhile, Ivy Nile seems to have the right muscular physique that doesn't give the impression she's juicing like Roidynne Grace.

Punk is a faggot and I’m no huge fan of his but seriously Danielson? Fucking vegan prick.
I'm convinced it's Tony Khan throwing him under the bus in an attempt to save face. I'm predicting Danielson retires when he said he would and never looks back at AEW. Blaming him for Punk's departure (When he was out on injury at the time Punk left mind you) doesn't make sense to me. Did Danielson ever have a reputation for getting people fired prior to this?

If it is real, it’s really fucking stupid for Tony to do something like this. I don’t care if it’s le heckin’ good boy Bryan Danielson, giving any talent the authority to fire someone is a awful, awful management practice

Going to be hilarious if Bryan let's his contract expire & retire in wwe. His true home. If a boss is too much of a bitch to take accountability & has to leak stories to dirt sheets, who can you trust?
