Former WWE star Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch sentenced to more than 17 years in prison​

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former WWE star Tammy “Sunny” Sytch was sentenced Monday to more than 17 years in prison for a crash that killed a 75-year-old man in Daytona Beach.

The judge handed down the sentence just after 3 p.m., which includes eight years of probation following the completion of her incarceration.

Sytch was granted a credit of 566 days for her sentence.

Sytch was arrested in May 2022, following a crash in March of that year that killed Julian LaFrancis Lasseter, of Daytona Beach.

Sytch was arrested on several charges, including DUI causing death, causing death while operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, four counts of DUI causing injury to a person and three counts of DUI causing damage to property.

At the time of the crash, police said Sytch’s blood alcohol content was three and a half times the legal limit.

A sentencing hearing is underway Monday and will resume after a lunch break.

She faces up to 26 years in prison.

Sytch performed in the WWE in the 1990s under the ring name Sunny. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Kind of crazy to think that the crossroads of Sunny’s life comes down to her turning Shawn down when he asked her to move to Texas with him…according to her anyway. They’d probably both be dead if she’d taken him up on that offer.

I know for sure Shawn is praying extra hard for the bullet he dodged.

He also arranged for a hookup with Trisha Paytas at one point but then he decided that he was "too tired after a show" (which, tbf, is a legit excuse) and didn't go through with it, which set Trisha off and she a video bitching about it.
