still have that one on the list to check out at some point, what's so bad about it?
Cartoony graphics, no real 'making' - just a blueprint unlock and *poof*, open-world survival but you still need to deliver a+b to destination c (missions), etc..
You can clearly see where the game expanded well beyond it's control, and broke itself- later to cripple the features it expanded.
The pipe and tether mechanic is stupid, and is placed clearly to retard your progress (b/c the worlds are so small).
You literally spend 95% of the game to get tech so you can stop throwing pipes and tethers everywhere.
There is more. You can play it, just don't pay for it.

Breath of Fire 4. It's pretty much a game composed of nothing but mini games to progress. Clunky and tedious. The first 3 are awesome though.
Far Cry 5. I just couldn't be bothered to play a "serious" Far Cry game. Enjoyed Blood Dragon and Primal though.
Legacy of Kain Defiance. The shoddy camera is by far your worst enemy.

I got about 70 percent of the achievements on "Rare Replay" but some of those old games are just bullshit. The Zed-x ones you can abuse rewind with and finish,, but it's the Nes era ones that make me rage.
The final boss on "Snake rattle and roll" is just full on ocelot shit. Same with Cobra triangle.

I don't feel like getting any more jiggies in Banjo Kazooie. I played it for the first time in 20 years and I like it quite a bit, but you have to get nearly every jiggy and music note in the game in order to open the final boss and the only ones missing are in Rusty Bucket Bay, a really shitty level in an otherwise great game.

I've been putting it off but I don't think I'll be going back.

Animal Crossing New Horizons. I was decently excited for this game and bought it after a few days of seeing how people were liking it, customized my character, and started building my town. After the honeymoon phase of seeing the new customization tools for the town and how many villagers you can have, and getting used to the weird crafting system, I slowly stopped playing. One of my major gripes is that they've completely gutted villagers, basically the main point of the game, into having the same 10 or so cookie cutter personalities. If you have multiple villagers of the same personality type is gets gratingly obvious how dumbed down they've made them. You'll talk to a villager maybe a few times a day at most and they'll spout the same two or three lines at you and it never changes. Even if they dedicated more time to making the crafting system and the world customization, it's completely nonsense for a studio funded by a multi billion dollar company to completely forego a major point of coming back to the game. Other smaller issues compound into making the game a slog, like them actually making grinding for items or money take longer in multiple instances, by making items that were worth a lot more worth way less, or simply making it harder to catch animals that would be worth a decent chunk of change. The crafting system is slow as hell and has no batch crafting, which means for necessary items like tools, especially earlier in the game, you have to spend a ton of your gameplay time remaking them. Why would they take one of the worst parts of BoTW and put in animal crossing? On top of this, they add FOMO shit like timed events that only happen once, and even for seasonal stuff items that may only be avaliable one year and it becomes painfully obvious they designed the game more after shitty mobile games. Seeing as the last game in the franchise before it was a mobile game with microtransactions, I can see where this bad influence came from. I haven't played the game in well over a year now, and I am not sure if I can see myself coming back.

Trials of Mana is boring the shit out of me. I thought getting to my first class change would spice the game up but I'm really not enjoying this.

The voice acting feels like it's 2 decades old as well.

You only need 94 jiggies to get to the final boss (98 to stack the deck in your favour.) 4 jiggies from RBB is easily doable and there are only 2 jiggies in the level that should cause you trouble.

Mine are the Following. You will be surprise on the games I played. Considering I have minions in the entertainment industry I know a few insights on things as well as investing into sector of the market.

Video Games. These are some that come to mind still

World of Tanks - Stopped in 2017. Reason: Short Version. When you data mine and find out how fucking corrupt they really are its time to stop.

League of Legends - Stopped 2016 Reason: Short Version Riot games was sold to a Chinese Company known as TenCent. Since I KNOW how China works they can go and kiss my ass.

MechWarrior - Stopped 2018 Reason: Short Version. These guys can fuck up a wet dream. The REEE is real with the DEV's over there. Must be Canadian poison syndrome.

RoboCraft - Stopped in 2018 Reason. Short Version. UK Gaming Retard Syndrome. Similar to Canadian Poison Syndrome, these fuckers completely misjudged their 1 MILLION player base to the point to have TenCent buy into them to bail them out. Once TenCent gets their hands on anything expect your IP's to be taken from you in one manner or another. Incredibly pissed off with the DEV's as they do the standard UK mindset of EGO's over practicality. They ARE NOTHING NOW.

Board Games. These pop mind as well.

Warhammer 40/WHFB Stopped in 2012. Reason: Short version. UK Gaming Retard Syndrome.
As a professional player spending lots of money into the company, the reason why I stopped playing this game is the RULE SETS that reminded me of a still born baby being dropped at birth. I don't play well with the intellectually retarded. This means The Board of Directors, That hamster known as Kirby and how they run that company. I will say that these cunts help me to become the Evil OverLord in my region, by not spending money/stock on them anymore.... so I guess thank you... GW????

Cryptic Studios/Hero Games. Stopped 2010. Reason Short version 'Murican Suck Ass Disease.
I knew the original group of people that Started Hero Games. I also knew the other company known as Cryptic Studios before they Started City of Heroes. The original Fuckers that owned Hero Games sold out to a bunch of useless assholes (in 2000) that currently own the IP. It is considered a useless IP now since they sold most of their rights to Cryptic Studios, which Champions Online (hahahaha) was born.

If I would have known about the sale in the end of the DoT com era, I would have bought the damn thing instead of my Mc Mansion. The current owners completely destroyed all good will from their player base and by 2010 they became nothing but a Print by Demand company. I even tried in 2011 to buy into the that company but I was politely declined. Never look a gift horse in the mouth. You are nothing but thought in the gaming industry now you old fucks. Their IP and company has as much value is an ice cube maker seller in the North Pole.

D&D, Gygax Era. Stopped 1984. Reason, 'Murican Suck Ass Disease. Short-medium version. Gygax was a not a nice man. Yea met the man several times. He was like a dumber Steve Jobs as the real father of Role playing games was Dave Arneson. I got real upset when Dave passed but Gary?
Nope.

Gygax claim to fame was that he did do some pretty good board gaming material and you can't take away from that.

Such as Tractics a modern day (at the time) miniatures of armored warfare. Also Chainmail as you can see the transition of miniatures to fantasy. Then came D&D. Needless to say it was an incredible hit that not only change the way people play games but it also ushered the era of the video gaming industry.

I should know. I was at ground zero when all of this shit (the industries) went down. Told you I was an old man... Heh...

IMHO If Gary was just a bit nicer to people and not think of himself as "Holier than Thou", he would have still have control of TSR and the rest of the shit hole history, such as the current wokeness of what is happening at WotC would not taken place.

People put him up on a pedestal on GREAT HE WAS. Shit. He thought more about HIMSELF and not about the company. You do not treat people badly and he deserved what he got.

And that is the difference between myself and Gygax. I took care of my employees. I took care of my businesses and... I took care of my customer base. THEN I took care of myself. Simple business ethics and common sense. Gygax failed to do so.

I think I'll stop here as there are a few old memories come to light. Of lies, of deception, of discrimination and losing your innocence... in thinking that people are decent in the Entertainment Industry. They are not. It shaped me on how I deal with intellectual properties that I own and how I do business now with those types.

A shake of a hand with a knife behind my back.

I wanted to play the Resident Evil games in order, but I can't stand RE 0 and probably won't finish it. Rebecca is only good for mixing herbs, and both characters have no inventory so you have to constantly drop crap on the ground. The bosses so far have been giant animals and I feel like the controls were better in the original version of RE3. The knife was better in Code: Veronica, though that game also had some irritating flaws. Lastly, the leech guy is cheesy even for a Resident Evil villain. The train environment at the beginning of the game is pretty cool though.

Ranked play in shooters like Halo 5 and Rainbow Six Siege.

My level of play is not high enough to compete. I'm encountering quitters and massively higher level players than I.

Not sure if I should just play single player games or take a break.

Edit: Bronze. Fuck this shit.

Ranked play is almost solely for people who never leave the pc and endlessly play their shiny new multiplayer games, because 'git gud' is the only term worth it to them in the end. This is true for most fps multiplayer games. It becomes a sunk cost problem at some point, when there's plenty of people who have dumped thousands of hours into a single game.

I quite Sekiro and Nioh because i coudln't git gud.

I never got the parrying down in Sekiro, got my shit pushed in by Genichiro and ragequit. Cool game though but i have no intention of ever making another attempt, i'm fine with it.

I get more frustrated with ranked play than any other mode. Sometimes I feel the MMR and matchmaking is inconsistent. Why do I submit myself to it, you may ask? I guess the idea of "climbing the ladder" and unlockables.

If you're willing to elaborate on this I'd be very interesting in reading what exactly Wargaming has been up to. They've always come across as extremely slimy so it would be quite cathartic.

If I remember correctly there was some business with them hiring people to shit up their competitor's forums (the guys who produced war thunder). I don't personally know more than that.

Darksiders 3. Game crashed and my save file got corrupted, and I was near the end of the fucking game lmfao. Maybe I'll revisit it in the future, but knowing that a crash could wipe out my save file dissuades me from playing it again.

Fire Emblem 3 Houses: I don't know why I could never get into this game, I played the first FE released in America on GBA and I enjoyed it. I don't know if its the sim mechanic or what. Maybe one day I'll pick it up again.
