Great, every US football media outlet is basically saying the US are in the world cup. The common one is to say we just forfeit to Costa Rica because a 3-0 loss gets us in. So get ready for an epic USMNT collapse on Wednesday

I have a feeling it'll be a scrappy 0-0 or 1-1 draw. Costa Rica also have a lot of starters who can't afford a yellow card or they'll miss the playoff in June.

Another bizarre story: Staines Town FC is suspending all operations in protest at its owner, who it is accusing of major human rights violations. Their website is now offline, presumably due to the owner trying to hide this statement, but it’s already circulating.

Congrats to Canada for qualifying. The US and Mexico should be deadlocks as well, with the playoff round still up for grabs.
Speaking of Canada, the 2020 Canadian soccer championship final will be played on June 4.

Iceland will be the only country I ever enjoy their populace doing the Viking Clap at football matches, it's gay as fuck when other countries try to imitate it. A once cool and novel thing has turned into something generic like the wave.

But anyways, Portugal need to be very careful. North Macedonia look like they're riding high on confidence and ready to collect another scalp. One chance is all they'll need. But I still expect Portugal to win.

Smh, the huwite man media is disgraceful. All I see are peaceful protestors standing against the patriarchy who keep holdin da black mane down.

When will this racialism stop?!

Nigger power ✊

Team USA managed to only piss themselves 2-0 to Costa Rica away. The Paramount+ studio celebration for Team USA making the World Cup was pretty embarrassing.

Idk about the rest of you, but I'm excited for kneel-watch. With some Qatar chief or whoever he was coming out in the past couple of days and in so many words telling Wokegate he better watch his fucking gob, I'm starting to wonder if England and other woke countries have the guts to try their antics in a country where they don't give a toss about "western values".

We all know the west and western leaders pick and choose when and where to virtue signal. Can't imagine a capacity crowd with half of them probably being muzzies will be too happy about some privileged jackasses from mudslime hating countries who have bombed their brothers over in the middle east more times than there's been M*A*S*H reruns will be all that giddy about them coming into their country and trying to force ideology down their throats.

I look forward to the pitch invasions at any rate, cable tying yourself to the goalpost has emerged as a new meta

Eh...we always suck in CR and this was all about just qualifying. All I know is I really want McKennie and Dest back and would rather see Turner as the starting goalkeeper now.

I know USA sucks historically in Costa Rica, but it would have been nice to finish ahead of Mexico in the table. As horrible as they have played in the qualifiers, they finished equal in pts with Canada.

Canada gave up after they all but knew they qualified before this international break. While the result for the US sucks in Costa Rica, the entire qualifiers were a pleasant surprise to say the least. Its still a youngish team with a lot of talent that came up through the youth system in the US and starting to break into Europe. If the US Soccer federation can at least encourage this kind of pathway and get MLS the fuck out of the way of youngsters developing, then maybe the prospects look good in future years
